Cosmic marvel fans unite

Yeah but that savior is kree.

Man-made Jesus gets no love.

Maybe because he wasn’t really written that good since Infinity Gauntlet.

I dunno, I don’t really like the Warlock character anyways.

I just remember them saying that the savoir was in Kree-space, but I have only read the prologue so far.

how can anyone not like warlock? dude chills with thanos and doesn’t get delt with like everyone else (at least from what i’ve read). another example of why you should like the master of the soul gem is thanos’ “the end”, which is probably the best “the end” i’ve read (imo).

Sure “among the kree” can mean there is someone in kree space but i think they are going to whore out the kree a bit more.

Thanos’ The End made Thanos a better character. It didn’t do anything to Warlock.

And the guy that went to hell and beat the devil. Even the Surfer couldn’t do that.

Kane: What Warlock centric stories have you read? He’s easily my favorite character because he walks the line of good and evil rules with logic. He does what needs to be done without hesitation. He’s the quintessential cosmic pimp. The guy banged Gamora, the most dangerous woman in the universe, while repeatedly telling her, “You know I can’t ever love you.” He’s just done some ballsy shit that I think is great. He decided he needed an heir. Does he court some bitch? Nope. He kidnaps Sif from thor and tries to rape her. Courting is not logical when all you want is a seed. Even the infinity gems recognize that he’s the only fit wielder for the gauntlet. When universal omnipotence itself chooses you, you’re know you’re on another level. How can you not like a guy who repeatedly saves the universe, and then steals the Silver Surfer’s surfboard and leave him stranded on a curb until he agrees to be friends?

I don’t like characters that is too powerful/strong. Which is why I don’t like Superman. I read the Infinity Crusade(Yeah the one where he stole the surfer board). Infinity Gauntlet. Other than that, yeah I haven’t read much.
I’m not saying the character is stupid… I recognize that it’s a well written character based on the one where he was written by Jim Starlin. Based on what I read on the internet, that was Warlock’s defining moment.

He is too perfect without flaws, but thats the point of his character isn’t it. He is created to be the perfect human.

But I just don’t like it. Hey it’s my opinion. I’m not bashing Warlock or anything.

I see your point, but I think it’s because you haven’t had much warlock stuff to read. Admittedly he was overpowered (initially he was one of the characters who could alter reality with thought), but that never really got explored and was eventually changed via depowering. He wasn’t quite pre-crisis broken, but I admit destroying planets when you’re angry is always broken no matter who does it (Silver Surfer and the like included). I think what I like so much is that he was created to be perfect, and given everything the perfect man could want which resulted in him being anything but human. All these other cosmic characters had various motivations and warlock simply wanted to fit in until he got fed up with trying. not many people write warlock well IMO. I guess that’s why he’s not usedd much.

And that too… No one could ever follow Jim Starlin’s footstep on Warlock. He’s like the Darkseid of Marvel.

Jack Kirby’s Darkseid is a well written character. He is the ultimate evil. Perfect in all evil. And that’s where it stops. He’s so perfect that they can’t create new stories for him.

So what did DC do? He became a bitch to Superman. I hate Superman with a passion…

Marvel did better… Rather than have Warlock be written in some stupid stories, they just didn’t do anything with him at all.

So starlords crew:

Groot - Old Hulk villain
Deathcry - Where is she from? She isnt from the imperial guard, Starjammers?
Rocket Racoon - Awesomeness is where he is from
Bug - What happened to the microverse/micronauts?
Mantis - She looks more like an alien than she ever did, wasnt the last time mantis appeared in Avengers when they fought Kulan Gath (or whatever that magicians name who makes everything go medievil) ?
Captain Universe- …

Edit: NM i forgot about wiki
Edit2: Cant find shit about bug

Yeah i saw that but he has done appearances after that

sooooo, did you read thanos: the end? you know, after thanos absorbed everything… only to have warlock open a portal and chill with him. anyone else could have done that, right?

With the way it was written, yes anyone could have.

My point was the whole Thanos: The End, defined Thanos’ character more. It made you understand how he tick, etc.

Warlock was the deus ex machina. It did nothing to Adam Warlock. It didn’t move his character at all. His character is just is.

It’s the same Warlock from the Infinity Gauntlet, nothing changed. Look at it thiss way, Marvel has still made Thanos into an interesting character(Look at Annihilation), while Warlock has gotten stale.

Don’t confuse this a bias for Thanos. I don’t like Thanos that much and never will. But I appreciate how interesting his character is still is.

If Marvel makes a new good comic about Adam Warlock, then we’ll see.

You can’t really blame just Marvel for Adam Warlock not appearing, Starlin was cool with Marvel for a good minute and had the opportunity to tell good and new Warlock stories and never did.

I personally, liked that Warlock mini that Greg Pak did a couple of years back, it was good even though the real Adam only had little to do with the story at first. Warlock has matured more than any other Marvel character throughout the years of his existence, it isn’t easy telling a story about a guy so far ahead of the game and who is a no nonsense individual. If he does ever comeback, he will probably either be revamped, be a villian or be paired up with a funny character in order to have the fool/wiseman dynamic.

I think Starlin liked Thanos better than he did Warlock.

Warlock being m.i.a. during annihilation AND House of M just made no sense to me. Both of those things are things which any other time would have caused him to show up immediately. Even if it’s just a line saying he’s stuck jacking off in another dimension would have been cool. He’s been filling Quasar’s role for years and then nothing.

^ Me too the whole freaking Infinity Watch were in Annihilation(except for Pip; I think) but no Warlock.
