BATTLE AT THE BORDER QUICK ANNOUNCMENT - PLEASE READ!!!
Quick review of NE1LANCNTR and what to expect:
I finally got in after to the place after the renovation and I must say way the inside is very nice. Pretty sick if you ask me.
**SETUPS:**The setups of the 360s will be connected to a monitor by a Microsoft VGA HD AV Cable. Minus a few 360s that would not cooperate (already been fixed) the picture was very crisp and clean. I liked what I was seeing lag was very minimal and the few that did was mistakes on our part, wrong setting we will be testing them tonight so that does not happen tomorrow
**AUDIO:**There is a small catch but I don’t see it as a bother because as a very picky gamer who complains a lot I actually did not mind the new sound change. On each xbox 360 each setup will have 2 headphones set up connected to the xbox 360. Headphones you say? Yes headphones. These are top of the line Tritton headphones made specifically for games with digital audio fiber optic surround sound and multiple speakers in the headphones that go around the ear making the sound sound so fucking badass. They headphones are light wait and do not get in the way of play. Each headphones comes with its own private volume control. I actually am very impressed with the sound quality and must admit that I have never heard SF sound like that. I for one welcome this new change. First time seeing SF with headphones that I have seen and very awesome indeed. It’s like your own private zone. Great sound blockers as well. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WHERE HEADPHONES----simply just crank the volume to full blast and you can still here the sound pretty damn clear. “FROM MY PERSONALL OPINION, I WAS SKEPTIC BUT THESE HEADPHONES REALLY DO NOT RENDER PLAY AND ARE VERY COMFORTABLE TO WHERE, THESE HEADPHONSE ARE THE FUCKING SHIT!!!”

**SIZE OF PLACE:**The place will be cramped but very doable, to those of us who remember the good ol days of old arcade love like Stargate this will not be a problem for us hell I love it this way. The chairs you will be sitting in are very comfortable office chairs, u know the tall black ones. I actually started falling asleep in them yesterday for how comfortable they are. So to those who play using double chairs like I do, I apoligize ahead of time but there will be enough room to sit on the floor if you’d like.
Once registered and if you are not playing I encourage people to hang outside to free up a little bit of room. There is a huge speaker setup through out the whole place so calling matches will be very easy for us, we will also call them outside to those who are chillin outside.

Actually, soon after posting that I decided to just stick with doing it Sat afterall…I too thought enough is enough with the postpones. The only reason I postponed it twice was because the first time I hadn’t gotten a chance to do ANY advertisement for the original date I had set. I didn’t know someone had posted on SRK for me…I had kinda forgotten about this board; didn’t even know the CC thread was still here til someone came by the Den one Sat. and told me about it. The second time was just before said person told me that my tourny had already made it to the forums and peeps were excited about it. I had gotten so busy with work that I hadn’t had time to get all the info and flyer I needed for that date so I pushed it back just a little to after I hosted my Yu-Gi-Oh Halloween tournament. And that leaves us with tomorrow. The info:

**Smash Bros. Melee **(GC) I WANT to run a Brawl tourny, but I just couldn’t get my hands on a copy of it MYSELF. I have a few people offering to try and get a copy for me, but I can’t guarantee that it will be there. I do have someone offering to bring their GC and a copy of Melee though.
Rules: 3 lives, NO teams…for now…actually I will get back to you on the rules for Melee.

I wanna apologize to those of you that are interested in my tourny for all the pushbacks. It’s just that I have been trying to advertise it right so that we can get a lot of peeps and I wasn’t happy with the amount of advertisement that I WAS able to get on my own. Please keep in mind that this is my FIRST tourny of this kind that I am holding. I started my Yu-Gi-Oh ones like 2 years ago and now it is flourishing quite nicely if I may say so myself. So give me time…this won’t be the last tourny of this kind I hold. I plan to maybe do a Halo/CoD one later…peeps keep asking me to try to hold one, but I’ve been wanting to do a fighting game one for a few years now. In fact some of you may remember that I wanted to take over for Pozer when he left, but then I caught word of a lot of corruption going on in that scene so I decided to leave it alone and do my own thing when I was ready. I think that time has come for me to at LEAST try it. Later down the line, after the FPS one, I will try a football tourny (my bro has been asking me to do one for a few years now -.-’).
