I have a few questions.how much does it cost to get in to gamers den? are there many people that play fighters?(preferably CVS2). how big is it? whats it like in there? Me and my bro play most fighters but our skill is in CVS2. We have alot of fighters.all 3 streetfighter 3, most of KOF,SVC,CVS2,GGX2#,MVC2.alot of street fighter games too.also does any one have Xbox live as well?
Well… Gamer’s Den isn’t really a place for Fighting games, we just go there because that’s where we hang out. People there play computer, console, or card games mostly. They’ve got 8 computers networked, 7 X-Boxes, 2 PS2s (1 modded), 2 Game Cubes, and a SNES (Haha, old school Street Fighter). No one really plays any fighting games but GG and every now and then, we’ll throw in 3rd Strike. If you’re looking for a MVC2 challege, go to Tilt in Padre Staple Mall. Ohh… as for cost. Uhmm… I think it’s like 10 dollars a month for membership. Wednesdays are free days for console games and you get 4 free hours upon signing up. I dunno about the rest…

Anywayz it was ok at GD. The only bad thing about it was everyone showed up by the time I was leaving :sad:
I kicked everyone ass like usual :badboy:
The only person that actually gave me somewhat of a trouble was that dude John. Not to mention ALOT of the players there had many minor mistakes. If you GD guys would fix half of those minor mistakes you’ll would win more matches.
But it was cool, I’d like to play you’ll again sometime.
Whoa whoa whoa… you’re talking about me? I think you got the wrong guy. I’ve only played SVC like 2x. I don’t know anything about that game really. I don’t even know who evil mr karate is…? So no.
Yeah, like I mentioned before, theres’s only like 2-3 “good” players there. Me and John being one of them. The rest never got into really advanced tactics or combos it seems. If you ever come up to College Station… it’s go time.

I have to admit, his Sol pressure game is great but there are a few problems.

He needs to FD when he FRC gunflame so that any sudden attacks that will come out of the opponent he will easily block.

He needs to stop VV out of everything. It’s so easy to bait him on ANYTHING when he does that.

He only does one rep of Dust Loop.

Learn to Guard Brake. It isn’t hard, and if he did Guard Brake he would’ve prevent about 30% of the damage I gave him between our matches.
EDIT: By the way Xnine, I’m interested in playing you Guilty Gear #Reload if you have it on Xbox Live. A friend of mine is lending me his xbox for a short time, so hurry up and set-up a challange for me. Oh and use a mic.
whens a good date to head up to this place? I’m a try to make a visit on one of my days off. but I work mornings so a weekend trip should be fine also. I’m from killeen, I’m not that great, but the area sucks for play, so looking to travel to try and get better. Fav is #r, but I also play 3S, CvS2, some kof and mvc2

I thought blocking and FDing blocked at the same speeds when standing still? The way I see it, when you RC or FRC, you go back to standing animation. So why FD?

Wish I had gotten a chance to fight him and Pozerwolf. But I did see some pretty intense matches against chef and captured some on tape!

freddy better be having jae hoon up on his av =x man i been stuck in final fantasy and i’m finally busting back out into the real world. i feel like i’m going through withdrawl all shivering like a crackhead with a yellow taxi cab assist. gots to say my skillz are even more the suck than before after all i been using in a numberpad with ff. freddy and gonzo should come down for a weekend would be cool to see you guys or maybe i’ll try to come up to houston to visit or something and get back in the groove of things. freddy try to get up on aim so i can talk to you about some stuff. anyways i’m off to work some more. hit me up on aim.
