Not only did Tasky steal peoples moves but he stole Dooms pink projectiles
His voice isn’t really that bad, it’s just his intro quote is completely retarded. For his moves and such though, it sounds fine, if a bit on the theatrical side…kind of like his costume. I’ve never thought he was anything stellar character wise, but I’ve always liked the way he looked. Just the combination of gear and colors, plus the Hobgoblin was one of the favorite villains. Always thought it would be neat to see him in a game, but never ever expected him to make the cut in a “serious” fighting game.
Depending on what his assist options are, and if you can XFC his Hawkeye hyper, he would be replacing Dante on any team I previously had Dante on. As wierd as this might sound, he gives off a Gambit vibe to me. Might just be the pink, dunno.
Think the bow represents Hawkeye’s arrows since you know, Clint likes the color purple but his bow projectile looks fun.
I will say though that other than his voice I am liking his style. Carrying that huge ass sword and shiled plus a glock for cappin bitches is a-OK in my book.
On his voice, I always read Taskmaster’s voice is pretty deep, so this voice did surprise me, but I don’t mind it by any means.
Taskmaster had so much potential.
Now just make sure he has a move that uses DD’s stick and a move that he pulls out sais for to fulfill his purpose. Let us see those!

With a couple projectiles ( that are nothing like CapAm’s ), a projectile hyper and a counter hyper. So… not really a clone >_>
edit: I’ll be annoyed though if he actually only has two hypers.

Akuma looks ace. I wonder what incentive people have to choose Ryu over Akuma? It seems Akuma has more options. Maybe defense?

He’s also even less of a clone in this than what all of the shotos are of one another – and none of them are exactly the same. He has two moves that are copied, one of which looks superior to the origional, unless priority or damage are worse.

Zero throws a Hadangeki, Tasky reflects it back. Zero eats his own Hadangeki, THEN eats Tasky’s arrow super… then as he gets back up he throws out another Hadangeki. Kids these days.
Not sure what he says at the opening but I sorta like this character already.
The first thing I thought of was Demon Souls and Night Wolf.
he seems kinda…goofy? Also, the animation on his Spider Swing is TERRIBLE. It looks as bad as Lui Kang’s flying kick in MK1.
Otherwise he seems to have a good mix of attacks. The falling arrows should be nice against anyone hiding behind MODOK shield. Can’t wait to see the actual gameplay vids though.
Arrows are cool. I thought he would have more "copycat’ attacks to be honest.
