Where I lived jaywalking was huge ridiculous problem. Most of the times you not supposed to stop at a stopsign or red light let alone some thugs walking slow than you thought was even possible across the middle of the street. Unfortunately all the cops are concerned with is the drugs they themselves run out the house down the street. How fun do you think it is to hit a jaywalker by accident? Ever been rear-ended while stopping for a jaywalker? I WISH cops gave tickets for jaywalking in Schenectady.
She’s breaking the law, got belligerent with the officer, and resisted arrest. There’s no way this is excusable for any race. If you want to see a white woman get treated the same way watch Cops. You’re trying to turn this into a racial situation when the cop was making sure the situation didn’t get out of control.

Seriously. The cop cannot risk losing control of the situation or his life would be in danger. This is true in ANY crowd of people. Especially when a riot is completely possible.
You’re going to fight a police officer? You have to be young. You’ll quickly notice as you get older challenging cops into a physical altercation will get you on the losing side every single time. You’ll learn to challenge it in smarter ways.

Not even that. If the charge is legit well eat it. If she had just talked to the officer all she would have gotten was a warning or a ticket. Your day isn’t ruined. Where I grew up a jay walking ticket was $4. I think that was also New York’s old fine, too, before they beefed it up.
If the officer is being irrational or violent towards you take the arrest and deal with it with your lawyer. This isn’t rocket science. I can see why so many people fuck up in life.
Ah okay. Yeah had I been the cop I would’ve been in trouble for firing my gun. But that’s the reason I’m not a cop.
