Not only that, but they’re resisting arrest AND the woman shoved him. Shove a police offer while he’s trying to arrest your rowdy friend and you can pretty much expect a punch in the face. If this was a guy instead of a woman, no one would care, but since it’s a woman everyone’s like oh man that’s brutality! -_- She absolutely deserved what she got.
I hate to say it, but you’re right hitt. Feminists always cry “women are equal to men” until something like this happens, then everyone wants to be hypocrites. I personally wouldn’t hit a woman, but either we’re equal to women, or we’re not. Can’t have it both ways. If a man would have gotten hit, there’d be no issue. At all. Like I said, I’d never hit a female, but since we are all EQUAL, there is technically no flaw in a police hitting a female after being attacked first.

I don’t understand what’s so hard to understand about this. If you put your hands on an officer, you are going to get smacked. The law treats everyone equally. It doesn’t matter who you are, rich, teen, poor, grue, you do that and you will get smacked.

After watching the video a few more times, 2 things:

She was actually grabbing him. When surrounded by people that way, if someone is restraining you in any way, you have to be a little more worried than just the shove that got her Alpha Countered. In hindsight I’m sure that made a big difference.

It looked like she was really about to knuckle up with this dude and hit him. I can’t tell from the angle- maybe her arm was coming up defensively, but if you look at the video just before she got hit, after shoving this dude she puts her hand up, like she’s about to do something with it.

edit: with that in mind, I should state that I still understand why people would be offended by this, just by the numbers- we have an adult male punching 17-year-old girl in the face, and he’s even an authority figure.

i mean, if you read that one post that goes more into the situation, everyone whos saying “What if she was dangerous” is wholly justified. that argument makes sense. She’s done bad things before, anyone can be dangerous. punching someones faec into submission is a pretty smart thing to do, no one is exempt from that.

Really alot of people don’t even have the right to talk about what cops do. Put yourself in their place especially in todays society…people are fucking crazy, you never know if someones got a gun, knife, have their friends jump you from behind etc etc. I applauded these guys for sticking to their protocol and doing their jobs, cause i know if it was me if there was even a hint that i was in danger, someone would be getting shot.
