No worries man XD And awesome thanks for sharing! Glad to know it works!
Mainly want to use the Saturn converter. if it’s like the 360/ps3 converters that are similar,
Just about anything with a ps1/ps2 controller end should work fine!
I could’ve tested it out for you, but I sold my last digital PS1 Pad, never liked that controller. The converter is great, I like that when you press L3 and R3 together on the Dualshock 2 emulates the touchpad.
Sick! Also I’m tryin it out with PC. with the saturn converter and it works just fine.
BUT A WORD OF WARNING:
dont hit start and buttons at the same time. this will equal a button set to turbo (which button+start will turn it off). I was confused for a second while I was using it. you can tell its on by a red light on the converter.
I love hitting start and mashing buttons between matches so I’ll have to settle down on that but no big deal.
Got an issue with a xtokki device that has been driving me nuts.
No matter which PS2 controller I use - it doesn’t recognize the directional input unless its pressed really hard. And if I don’t consistently hit it with the same pressure it will drop the input entirely.
Any ideas on what I can do?
Note: This doesn’t happen with a PSX controller for some reason.
I think I know why, it depends on what PS2 controllers you been using.
The Xtokki Device was intended for mostly all Digital Devices.
A PS1/PS2 digital pad or fight pad and PS1/PS3 arcade sitcks have the best results with the Xtokki.
The Xtokki does not like dealing with analog button presses that many PS2 buttons have.
PS4 controllers work fine on their own on Windows 10, no need for a converter.
The only games PS4 controller don’t work with are those games that operate under the new Microsoft Xbox gaming initiative.
PC games that are Branded as Xbox games for the PC.
Using standard PS2 controllers. The previous xtokki device I had used worked great with same controllers. It unfortunately had an electrical problem via a faulty powered usb hub that shocked it
A friend gifted me another Xtokki and I was thankful - however the Dpad problem was noticeable immediately. I wonder since the Xtokki I purchased was from Etokki and not X-Arcade if there was a version difference that coincides with the pressure sensitivity?
I’ve sent a ticket to the folks at X-Arcade asking if they know of a solution.
I was talking about the PSX/2 to PS4 converters. I plan on buying a gaming laptop and making it my main entertainment source. I 've had trouble with PS3 wired controllers and emulators on W7 thats why I was asking.
