i can’t touch it if it’s inside my stick
Oh yeah. Hmm.
The Joytron XConverter (which the eTokki converter seems to be based on) had a button combination you had to hold for a second or so (Back+L2?) that would bring up the guide, but I don’t know if there’s anything like that on the eTokki.
Hi. I tested my Hori Fighting Stick V3 with the “PS2/PS3 to xBox360 Controller converter PRO” in a Xbox 360 console, but didn’t work. But works with HRAP3.SA.
Is there another PS3>360 converters working with FS V3?
thanks for the reply eidrian and kyle.
I got my inpin a week ago, and has been experimenting with some programing.
so here’s a short review on inpin + hori command stick
when I try command stick with model 538 converter, it was impossible to do just frame link in tekken 6
such as ch df2 pewgf kazuya or bryan’s taunt ju
using inpin it’s posibble
however a one frame lag would occur over long programmed combos
so if I were to program long combos such as
kazuya’s
ch df2, pewgf, ewgf, dash, 314, dash df1,2 B!
in 10 try, there will be about 5 failed attempt of sucessful combos
and when I checked the command history in training mode
there is one frame skipped randomly
so, sometimes the forward motion in dash is skipped. sometimes it’s the df+1 that’s skipped, etc
when I program for a simple ewgf and the recovery time, and I made it loop program (doing it continuosly)
the ewgf would stop after about 15-20 ewgf and kazuya would do crouch d2 instead
which happens because a frame of command is skipped therefore ruining the super tight programmed ewgf and it’s recovery time.
now I am not sure yet why this happens.
some possible conclusion I made are :
- the command stick lags, I mean the stick is at least 10 years old and might not be in prime condition
- the inpin lags. the inpin might just have small enough lag that builds up after a long succession of command that finally resulted in 1 frame lag which doesn’t make any difference in regular play, but in a tight programmed frame input like the command stick are capable of, it might just lag enough for programable stuff
- my tv lags. I am using LG LD330. so far I don’t feel any lag on any games, but who knows it might lag for a few ms
I happen to have a hauppauge HD PVR, so I’ll try to uploads the vid of me using a command stick when I have the time
I briefly skimmed over the last page or so, and based on your findings, I’ll have to say that it’s gotta be the Hori Command Stick that’s lagging. eidrian did report what Maj has said and I’ve done extended tests on the inPin and the etokki Xconverter 360 using turbo function on the Hori Real Arcade Pro 2. Neither the inPin nor the Xconverter 360 failed the tests. They were as lagless as they could be. I’m not saying you’re wrong though; for all I know, it could certainly happen. But the inPin is reliable enough to hold up to the lagless standard, so I’d be wary blaming the inPin. Also, I wouldn’t think TV lag would matter since I thought you’d have to program your combo using the little LCD screen anyway, so the TV lag would be eliminated from the equation.
On the note of sticks and how they work with converters, does anyone happen to have an Xtokki/Xconverter 360, an inPin, and a Hori Fighting Stick 2? It’s been bugging me for ages, but I REALLY want to know what the converter does when you press the “Mode” button. Does it activate the Guide/PS button as if the Mode button were an Analog button?
Hey, I’m a 360 pad player and I was lookin into some 360 to ps3 converters and I came across this one, does anyone know if its any good?
Does anyone know any good Ps3 to Xbox 360 converters that can work on a MadCatz TE stick google hasn’t helped me much so someone pointed me here. Can anyone help?
This is a very very long thread. definitely feel a new sticky is needed. Anyway im sure it has been asked but im looking for a ps2 to ps3 converter and a ps1 to ps3 converter. yes im looking for both. of course lagless or lagless as possible. ssf4 AE the main game used for this situation here. and the one frame links are needed.
Eidran…I’m sorry to crash your thread, but I am trying everything I can to figure this out. I am writing this for my daughter, Olivia. She is very much into Bemaniso and is trying so hard to meet someone to get an invite. This weekend, we took her to Baton Rouge to play PopN, and she finally met someone who was playing also and said he would send her an invite, but we haven’t heard anything. I understand this is super secret, which is what makes it super cool, but Olivia has been having a lot of problems at school with bullies and other social issues, and this is so important to her; I just want her to feel some kind of camaraderie with someone, and this would really help. Can you help me find a way to get her an invite? I don’t really have anything to trade, but I am a teacher, so I can edit or write some papers for free… Thank you SOOOO MUCH.
Take care,
Rebekah
What?! I am sorry but you need an invite to what again?
ps1 and ps2 have the same IC so you use the same converter for both best bet is a inpin there’s a link on first page of this thread
She wants an invite to bemaniso.ws so she can play some of her favorite games. I have been looking everywhere trying to find someone to invite her, but no luck. I appreciate your help! :)))
thanks a lot sir!
I bought from this buyer, if anybody wants to buy this converter, you need a heads up about this converter
Well, my PS360 board broke on me about a month & a 1/2 prior to EVO 2011, so I hot-wired a Madkatz Fight pad for 360 as a backup, but the MVC3 tournament was on PS3 so yeah, Had to find a solution to this and quick, I played at Devastation and played this guy that had that very same converter, so I searched Ebay for it, and I found it. I ordered it and received it in less than 3 weeks, no time to spare (2 weeks left for EVO) I tested the Converter on a PS3 & 360…It worked well, so 1 week into using this converter, I started noticing some Input drops & when holding a direction for a certain time, I let go of the stick and my character will continue walking foward for half a second, after a couple of matches with friends online & offline, I was convinced that this converter is defective. So I contacted the seller about the Item I bought and told em what was happening, but came EVO.
I had to compete with this defective converter, but I got a second oppinion about the converter, I found the guy with that same converter from Devastation, same design but my converter had something more…his converter said (360) and my converter said (360 PS3) on 1 side…but despite that difference, I asked em a favor and told em to use my converter on a friendlies match, and I used his on a friendlies match as well (ruling out that my soldering and/or Fight pad hack was the issue. So after a 4 win streak, I was convinced it wasn’t my stick, it was the converter. So then I asked the guy about my converter and gave em back his. He agreed and told me the EXACT same thing he was having problems with. Competed with this defective converter, and didn’t make it out of pools.
EVO was great, but this converter was not. The Buyer tomtop_shop contacted me and sent a replacement product. A week later I got the replacement converter, tested it on PS3 Online & Offline MVC2 & 3, SSF4, and it worked, no more Dropped Inputs nor Directional Inputs problems.
So yeah that’s my experience with this converter, I might just have been unlucky and got a bad converter, but I think that this needs to be said cause I don’t want a fellow gamer buying this and gets a F@#% up recommendation on this converter
anyways thanks for listening…
So, I’ve heard a lot about the Controller Converter Pro, but nowhere seems to have it in stock. However, the Blazepro is in stock, and I was wondering if anyone knew if it was compatible with a HRAP3 and/or a Madcatz TE. I’m rather confused, because as far as knew, the black version was the same as the grey one, sans the 360 security chip. Here’s the adapter in question:

could you clarify please
anybody having issues with an xtokki and MCC ? Jamin3131 and i both cannot get it working. Tried the 2 i have, nothing. Namco stick and ps2 controllers work fine. The only thing i can think is that i need update the firmware. Run os x at home so gotta wait till tomorrow to get it updated.
this may seem simple but sometime when I start up a game I have to unplug and replugg the ps2 stick from the adapter and it always works its pretty common
also the ps2 code on the MCC has not been updated for a while so an update prolly won’t help
