Anyone know anything about the Super Dual Box? I got it since it was readily available when I bought my stick today, but if it’s not that great, I’ll pick something else up.
Do the PS > DC “Total Control Plus” converter work for PS1 DS? I checked the 1st post, and it doesn’t confirm nor deny it. Also, what makes this one less superior to the Dream Connection II converter?
Hey swamp it does work on a PS1 DS but, you have to set the switch on the middle for some games but, usually it should be set to the top part.
Just a note on that first one, I have one like it myself (most likely the same one, though I got it from dealextreme). It works fine with my PS1 Dual shock pads, but not with my PS1 Digital pad.

Ya it works fine on the PC. Used to work on the PS3 last year, but doesn’t work anymore with the recent firmware updates.
I believe the top switch will register as
[],/,R1
X,O,R2
while the middle should register as
[],/,L1
X,O,R1
Also if you don’t find one of them working it’s usually because of the connector isn’t connected. I opened mine up & saw it so I just put some plastic welder glue on it to make sure it never gets disconnected again thus problem solved but, just make sure to get a refund first than listening to me.

so i had a ps2 hrap2 sa and total control plus converter (for dc) and the stick never worked on it? anyone know why?
I actually bought a white PS1 DS to match the DC and it works just fine with the converter.
also if i get a ps2 stick wtih ps3 converter is there going to be a noticeable amount of lag compared to just getting a ps3 stick? i dont want my timing for combos and links to be weird
Did you try using a ps2 pad to see if it’s the converter problem? From what I heard some sticks won’t work on it mainly MAS sticks but, I never heard any problems with hrap. Also does the converter have a lit up red light on the corner of it? If not see if you can get a refund because it could be defective.

Well if the red light did lit up then it should’ve worked & did you try messing with the switches on the side of it? Depending on the type of games the top is for regular while the middle is for dance pads & the last one is for steering wheels. Also on the ps3 converter thing I have an Inpin one & they work just fine. Pelican ones works great too from what I heard but, I prefer the Inpin one for combos like Tekken where you gotta be on time to land them.
