Converter Compatibility Thread

What’s a good way to do lag testing on a PS2-GC converter? I’ve had this converter for a while now:

And while it works perfectly as far as everything working, I’m curious if it has lag, especially with TvC coming soon, it’ll definitely be getting more use. And it’s a great cheap adapter, provided there’s little to no lag.

can someone tell me wot this thing is called by pelican? http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn130/volleyballurrrr/stuff%20for%20sale/StuffSonylabelled.jpg
its the C thing it makes ps2 controllers wireless, i wanna mess around with it with a converter but have no idea wot its called

Hey guys. I bought 2 REAL ps2-ps3 converters and they worked like a charm on my fat 60GB ps3 (4 USB ports). I was able to use both converters at the same time without any problems.

However, my old PS3 died, and I’ve since bought a 120GB Slim PS3. My issue now is that I can no longer have 2 converters plugged in, as it looks as though there isn’t enough power being supplied to the USB ports. Only one of the converters will work, but not both. The converters aren’t defective, because they both work if I don’t use them together.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Hmmm…haven’t heard of anything like that. If you happen to have a powered USB hub, you might try that.

ps2 -> cc adapter

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-10y-49-en-15-ps2+wii-70-3ix1.html has anyone tested this yet? I have their snes -> cc converter and I love it, but haven’t done any formal testing - I imagine many are interested in this adapter for TvC and wii games that lack gcn support.

The HAIS PS2-PS3 converter mentioned in the first post is sold out from dealextreme, does anyone know any vendors that have them in stock?

Im looking for a Saturn, 3do, & famicom converter for PS2 controller but cant seem to find any of those in that website. Seems like they only have gamecube converter…Can someone help me out…

If memory serves correct, those converters lag pretty badly.

Rgr, that explains the price! lol.

i heart you man!

Is there such thing as a XBOX360 to Wii converter? I really want to play TVC with my TE.

I did buy and mod a mayflash stick for this purpose but I’m having problems,if you can help please go to the noobie questions thread.

So, nobody has attempted to use a Saturn PS2 pad with the Cube JoyBox Pro converter? That is the set-up I’m looking at for TvC.

Edit: Damn. Based on the customer reviews at Play-Asia, it looks like they are not compatible. Now what? :bluu:

your best bet is to put another PCB in it, the cthulu or CHIMP. it has GC compatbility

I have the Arcana Heart 2 stick for the PS2.

I’m just about to buy an Xbox 360. I really want to keep using this stick for KOF XII/Garou/SFIV/BB. Are there any PS2 to 360 converters that don’t have any input lag?

just stay away from xcm xfps and youre gold, in the op there is xconverter360 get it at etokki.com

Hacksparrow mentioned that when you use two Xconverter 360’s that only one of them functions. Can I get an additional confirmation of this? I only have one of them. I am able to use it however simultaneously with a Blaze converter.

tototek.com is the truth. All kinds of crazy shit on there.

i cant confirm that 2 joytrons wont work they do have the 4 player leds, but i can confirm that 2 blaze’s will not work. i just did wot u did and the other srk member did and ordered a joytron to solve my problem.

Hey Kyle, you should probably update the first posts to point to laugh’s site etokki.
