**Disclaimer: **This event will be run on a schedule from 1PM-7PM. I have the hotel booked for a certain time slot. I will not be able to accommodate players who will be arriving late to the tournaments. You can arrive any time between 1-7 if you are just playing casuals.

PURPOSE OF THIS EVENT:

Hello everyone, this is Deluxe from ConsoleWarzone.com. I will be returning to Mahwah, NJ starting on April 2nd to bring you more gaming events starting with a SSF4 and MvC3 event. I just wanted to briefly discuss my intentions for this event and explain to you how it will run.

The event will feature both tournament setups and casual setups. If you would like to just come out and play casuals, feel free to just pay the venue fee and do so. The tournaments will be run efficiently and smoothly on multiple setups.

The hotel has A LOT of parking available (enough to cover a major) and also has Wi-Fi and sells some snacks and drinks if people are interested.

I want to thank RawGamePlay.com for adding $200 in bonus prize money to this event ($100 for MvC3 & $100 for SSF4).

The event will run on all Asus monitors so those CRT lovers out there (all 3 of you) need to keep this in mind as well.

All in all, I just hope everyone on the East coast can come out and help each other get better at these games and have a fun day. I will see you all there, any questions feel free to ask.

No this is a different place, but it’s actually right down the street.

I should have tournament details up this week and then I will see about how much room we have for additional setups. Right now I have about 8 setups.

I am looking into a stream but at this point it is not looking too good. With the money I have to put out to rent the hotel I really can’t afford to be paying anyone to come in and stream. I have contacted a couple people but no luck yet. I’ll keep you updated.

This is true but it’s too much for me to stream and run the tourneys. Also, I don’t have HD so my capture card won’t work with the Asus monitors unless I buy a converter which is pointless.

I only did single elimination because of time constraints and the fact that people are playing Marvel now. I will look into changing it to double if enough people request it, it just may take away from the casual setups a little bit.

Here is what I would like to do, but please chime in and let me know. I have $200 of bonus money to giveaway. I wanted to split that equal between SSF4 & MvC3 and have $100 added to each game. The reason I went more in favor of Marvel is because everyone is playing that as their main title now and I didn’t get too much response for SSF4.

I’ll look into changing SSF4 to Double Elim. tomorrow. The question is, do you want SSF4 to be $5 Entry or $10 entry and what would you want the MvC3 entry to be as well. Let me know and I will make changes according to what the response is tomorrow.

i think ssf4 should be 10$ aswell as mvc3 and the pot bonus should be split even if so ill show up from ny well depending on the expected turn out and ill bring one or two people with me to join as well
