Consistently losing connection to SSFIV

It started just yesterday evening when i’d randomly disconnect from PSN. I’ve restarted my router, reset my network settings on PSN, and still nothing. This is the first time this has happened. Any advice?

For me, this problem has been going on for the past week. Random disconnects from PSN as well. My internet connection itself, however is fantastic. No problems. My network streams video from Fancast/Hulu over LAN via wireless very well and always without lag. My PS3 connects wirelessly which consistently achieves downstream speeds of over 15Mbps. Upstream around 6Mbps. Wired, I achieve 25/7Mbps. (up/downstream - you pros figure out if I got the two right) I use a D-Link DIR-655 gigabit router and DCM-202 cable modem. DNS is set through OpenDNS.org. All my cable lines and connections are brand new with a dedicated modem line that has zero splits. My PS3 is always set in DMZ.

Everything was fine up until about a week ago when I noticed my PS3 was taking an extreme amount of time to sign in to PSN. Sometimes it would time-out and I would have to manually connect. Once in game, I would experience those random disconnects from PSN. But never from the internet itself. My PS3 is a first gen 80gb model that is fully backwards compatible.

If your connection is fine doing anything else, I’d just put the blame on PSN and wait it out.
