Nintendo has said that one of the new features in the upcoming 3DS is going to be improved wireless connectivity. The connection will allow the 3DS to automatically link to other machines and the Internet. Nintendo did not elaborate on what means the 3DS will use to make the connection.

im assuming theres going to be more things to do when in connection to a wii console, that and maybe its already setup to used with future consoles they might have planned.
