Update: I did it ! I did it ! i feel so proud…:woot:, it came out right :woot:

well i knew something had to go wrong…:sad:…some of my characters original colors get shown when they throw a punch or kick…for ex. my red cyclops when he optic blast’s his original blue color shows, but then it goes back to red…Any one have or has had this problem?..

You have to edit the extras that show the optic color reflections, I forget which ones they are.

But go here for all the extras that “have” to be done for all the necessary characters.

Characters that don’t have Extras you need to edit to look right aren’t listed. Only characters that have Extras you DO need to edit are listed.

All those edits look great. So far I found the ID’s of some of the special moves for Doom, Cable and Magneto, but I havent gotten to edit them yet.

Anybody in the mood for sharing say … some other character’s palettes and ID’s? :smiley: I would really appreciate Sent’s Laser and Fly-rockets palette.

Before I dive deep into it, I want to let you know that I can’t make any more promises that everything will get done. My motivation goes up one day then down the next. I will say that things are looking promising on what Magnetro/Edrian have suggested. This is as far as small bug fixes + automation of character extras.

hmm bear with me guys :bgrin: when it says…"3. Copy ID:06-10 from? default color palette to ID: 01-07 " does it mean to copy the colors from the original color?..and with storm…
“LP color? - Lightning Reflect Frame 1, Same as LP color” does it mean the original color or the same as my edited palette…and finally do i have to edit every damn squarebox… looks i need someone to help me with this shiz.

It’s copy those boxes from the main color, the one you use for default button.

Yes, it needs to be the same color as the original main color you edited. And yes, you need to edit all the boxes unless stated otherwise.

If you want to pick up the change (or improve upon it), I quickly added support in the Open Directory dialog box to remember the last used location:

It’s not a well integrated change since I haven’t really had much time to play with it yet, but it should make it really easy to pick up the change if you want to. =)

EXE size: it should be because you’re statically linking in the MFC DLLs, IIRC.

I’ll write that packager in a little while. Should be simple, and I’ll just use IExpress so it’s portable to being built from your system too. I could use NSIS if you really want, but that should be unneeded overhead. :smile:
