OK, so here are my ignorant notes on Megaman… help appreciated. I’m mostly interested in tweaking Rush and the Beat Plane to match Megaman better, everything else appears to be pretty good at this point.

Generally the palettes with white for box 9 appear to be normal Rush or other helper. Box 9 should normally be part of the main body color scheme, so that’s a nice hint. It’s strange to note that they were lazy with the charging Megaman color scheme. I’m not sure where Roll is in his color scheme, but that should be in there too.
You don’t need to change the Charging Megaman palettes anywhere. Strangely, those are common between all the Megaman types. ?!? I put an asterisk by everything I think is important to edit.
Generally for the palette fades, it’s darkest to brightest, with palette 5 being the normal color. So you can darken -8 downwards, and +6 upwards, and it looks about right. For the Rush and Beat edits, you can copy/paste the chunk of colors that you want and then directly edit the Luminance on those selected chunks - that’s the easiest way to get what you want.

So the basic sequence in the extras is:
21 (first): normal color
22: white flash
23-27: Pretty much the same as 21 (the first), but there’s a two box lighter “flicker” that creeps up the palette boxes
For the most part it’s probably going to be easiest to edit Iceman by having two PalMods open so you can see the starting palette you’re editing for that extra - or to see the normal offset/changes for that color set so you know the color offsets you need for your own selection.

EDIT: Here’s my latest round of updates. This was pretty much bug-fixing and tweaks. I updated Tron’s Tron palette and her Kobuns to match her Gustaff colors, tweaked Rush to match Megaman, fixed Black Iceman, and added some new mint blue characters basically per the previous hex color strings I used. “Magnus Red/Purple” looks dumb on everybody. Oh well.
Forgive me if this has been covered, do I need to edit extra pallettes with Gief and jugz? Gief concerns me, he has a lot of extra pallettes. Anyone know the exact sets I need to edit? I have yet to burn an actual copy of the game with edits I did on these characters. I know they are crap tier and probably low priority, but I still want to edit them.
hey dont get on him about it, i mean do you realise that this is not his life… he isnt getting paid for it and that this is alot of work, there is a small team working on this project. You guys just have to be patient, and really he could just leave it at this if you guys push him too much

I’m setting up a guide to correctly edit each character from the cast, including: Main Color Frame, special intros/endings, taunts etc. Basically a breakdown of everything there is on their palette, as well as which variants are required to make it look good, not half-assed complete. Kinda like with Cyclops and Storm.
Preppy: Roll is in Megaman’s palette cuz of that winning pose where she gives him some flower bouquet. You also need to hook me up with those iceblue colors.
I really want to know if I can change or add the music and stages from cvs2 to the cvs1 counterparts?I really did’nt want to look through 51 pages of comments.Thanks in advance
Somebody asked about naked/Rambo Magnus - I don’t think he or Cyclops look good that way. You have to follow the existing drawing lines and shade against those, so – I don’t know. You can certainly try, I just don’t think it looks too good.
Yeah, I figured she was in there, I just have been too lazy to figure out which one is her so far. Not that it really matters.
I put up my first notes on the ice/mint blue theme here, but I probably made some further changes past that. I’ll check it out when I get home. Plus I made Rush / Rush Drill match Megaman, so that’s more interesting palette data to share.

Thanks, i know i havent been doing alot of work on this lately, but i have some free time and im gonna compile all my colors at least, ill have them up on my photobucket in about an hour
