There can be features in cvs2 that can make the stages incompatible, but other than that they’re pretty much the same.

There is going to be some problems doing this.
- The game crashes when you do hyper as it’s trying to load the hyper background.
But it gave me more info, that the poly file holds camera data and the hyper background is part of the poly stage files in mvc2.
Edit: nope the camera is still the same.

Several years ago, at one of the last majors that hosted MvC2 (could have been FR or SB) they used a version of MvC2 that featured tracks from La Bouche and I think Snap. I know it was posted on SRK but that was waaaaay back and all the links are busted.
Does anyone have a tracklisting for that version?

Where do you input the codes for colors? That Shin Akuma on page 91 is dope.
You can paste the codes into PalMod and it’ll update the associated colorboxes with that data.
Anyone know where I can get the custom pallettes for the Evo2k14 mix ??. Thats the best MvC2 Custom I’ve seen with the colored moves too
The EVO players organised themselves through their facebook group so you could try there.

forum is dead like here. Smooth assasin has done mixes for majors so there’s a good chance he is the guy to contract (he also uploaded some mixes there fwiw)
Preppy might know whose mix it was since he was recording.
I’ve deliberately avoiding knowing that kind of thing as much as possible because it’s just too unimportant of data that is too varied over time to keep reliable track of. Team Admin on FB might know.

What do you mean by ‘upload’?
Just put all the character palletes in a folder, create a .rar and upload it to something like deposit files, sendspace, zippyshare, etc
If you don’t know which dats they are then download the original from Preppy (always good to have a backup)

SRK doesn’t want direct links to images & ROMS so you could just post links to mvc2network & facebook and just give links here via PM. That’s only if you want to post the full .cdi - much easier to do just palletes, they’re like 50mb tops.
Alternatively you could just paste some colour codes if you want quick feedback.
