regaurding MVC2
for the dummy file do i type in around 300 in the left side slow where it shows “1”? because if thats so i think thats whats going wrong with the way im builiding mine. i go through the process with the cdr-win and when its almost complete it shows the error box showing “CDROM Recording Tools for Windows has encountered a proble, and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.” can this be the problem when i burn it and it never boots
CDR-Win corrupts memory on shutdown so will indeed crash. The CDI generation finishes BEFORE the crash so the CDI will still work. CDR-Win is simply broken software. Ignore the crash, it’ll work fine.

It doesn’t have to be 300mb. Just make it big enough so it can fit onto the CD-R and If I were you test your finished image file on nulldc to see if it boots up so you can avoid the hassle of wasting blank cd’s :tup:
