How did you burn it…
they way i burned it was thru Command Promt, but you need the “ASPI” for the burner you have just Google it if you don’t have it. Then download ASPI CHECK to make sure they are installed
…i have alway’s burned them thru the command promt and never had a problem…you sure you did everthing right?

processes for cvs2/marvel are EXACTLY the same… just different stage names…
Pretty sure, i used a selfboot copy and followed all the instructions. Do i NEED a non-selfboot for it? If so my friend made me a custom marvel (non-selfboot) would i be able to use the files on his copy? 
Can this be done with the commercial release of the US version of MvC2? Thats all I have.

Well American is Selfboot, but i used the Jap version that was non-selfboot, the one where you had to enter the UTOPIA BOOT DISC…well i used a Jap NonSlfBoot. Well it worked fine for me.
Anyone know if it’s possible to rip the sfx in this game? What program does it if it’s possible?
You can do a selfboot disc, Ive done it before. As for your other problem, your sure its actually trying to burn under 700 MB? Also you might try using some different CDs, doesnt sound exactly the same but Ive had times where I just couldnt burn something cause of the media, it’d just fail no matter what.
Can anyone send me IMG file? also my friend coppied the his burned MvC2 and sent it to me online but it’s just a bunch of files can i burn it as a data cd and use a boot disc? What burning method should i use>
The only that is wrong with my Custom MvC2 is that when you pick Anyone/Doom/Anyone…any order just make sure you have Doom in it. It will freeze and the music still keeps playing, that happen to anyone?
Can you make a custom CvS2/MvC2 with the Xbox versions?
!(_)! - I am not sure, assuming the song files are ADX on the Xbox version then I guess it would be possible. But you would have to extract the data from the Xbox disc differently then you would for a DC disc.
ruin- What do all the files added up to? Like 300MB or 600MB? if so then he sent you the extracted files from MvC2. All you need to do is make an image file out of those files and burn the disc with disc juggler.
Do you mean the actual store bought DC version of mvC2? If so then yeah it is possible, but there is a lot of unnecessary work that need to be done like buying coders cables etc…Just download the Mvc2 image file from someone and go from there.
Do you have any idea of what “Ignore all read errors” on your tutorial does? Cuz i honestly think you don’t and let me tell you it’s pretty serious.
