So my PALMOD doesn’t work properly anymore… I can’t preview… I only did some edits last night… wtf?

Did you try restarting PalMod? Is Img.dat in the directory with it?

i tried restarting several time

img.dat? i don’t have any files in my MvC2 directory that say that

img.dat should be in the same directory with palmod.exe . If it’s not, you won’t get previews.

Just one question: What does that ID mean in some of the characters data in their colors? In the guide, of course.

Highlight one ov the boxes in the palette box on the right hand side…each individual box represents a ID, starting from ID:00 and ending with ID:15 as far as usable palette parts are concerned…it says it under that same box if you look closely.

i just figured out that copy / paste is available, and that you can select multiple boxes. WOOOOOOOOOO!

Thanks! Now, all of the codes posted here are just edits for the characters main colors or do they also aply for their extra colors? let’s say fireballs, little sentinels, etc?

Main character sprite edits…none are for extras unless otherwise noted.

Another concept I was brainstorming: If you develop/have a great color for a character, copy it as a 4 box and a 5 box code. Most of the characters main color (hulk’s skin, for example) are 5 boxes. His pants are 4. So, you would highlight the skin boxes, then paste this code:
(#&FC70FA70F850F640F530) Five Point, Golden Brown

Then, highlight the pants (4 boxes), and paste:
(#%FFB2FEA2FB82F850) Four Point, Gold

Viola! Brown Hulk with gold pants!

So, we can focus on the main color (5 boxes) and the secondary color (4 boxes).
I tend to focus on the color as opposed to the character, especially when I am developing matching teams.
