You should play the Gamecube remake. Definitely the best in the series.
Just to clarify, there was definitely nothing stopping Wesker from “teledashing” (or whatever the hell you want to call it) right behind Chris and ripping his heart out. He’s just a certified badass who doesn’t kill his opponent on the spot.
I mean, if you can move that fast, what’s stopping him from running through Chris, exploding him into a million tiny gibs all over the place? I’m pretty sure his enhanced body could withstand the collision. He can already stab a hole in your chest with nothing but his hands and fingers.
I think they should make it clear that he’s not really teleporting by making him vulnerable during it, ala Ibuki.

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned bt the Hyper Combo at the end starts with Doom then ends with Captain America tht Combo could do loads for all we know… or crap.
Another this is that ye Wesker is fast but that teleport of Wesker’s is probably his 8-way dash because in the trailer he does it diagonal, up, down, left and right. Then tht wud mean he couldn’t combo after an air dash in the air as easily as some1 else with an 8-way dash coz he wud just appear somewhere else rather than travel through the air if that makes sense.
If its 8 way, holy fuck thats awesome.
He has a normal dash on the ground at least.
does he have an instant overhead?
Hopefully it’s his 3-hit butterfly kick that you see him combo into his level 2 super with.
If his moveset includes Windfall, I hope that is his overhead.
His normal dash looks really low like X-23’s.
