I had an idea of watching some boxing matches of legends, and underdogs alike. Like Mike Tyson vs. Holyfield, Trinidad vs. De La Hoya, etc. And I was curious about how depending on how good a pro sf players record is and comparing well i mean to say put on level with real life fighters. let’s say:
JWong: 3rd Strike --> Pernell Whitaker a.k.a Sweet Pea (Both got good defense capabilities, and stay on the move alot)
Kindebu/RF: GGXX–> im not sure maybe on league with that Raging Bull guy:confused: bcuz they always stay on the offensive 90% of their matches.
Daigo playing Vampire Savior back in the day is as Benny “The Jet” Urquidez was when he was kickboxing in the 70s seeing as he never lost a fight ever.
I watched a lot of Daigo’s VS matches and I never seen him lose 1 match unless i missed downloading it somewhere.
In any of your fav. games how would you compare who with any fighter.
Maybe yes, maybe no. It’s like any game/sport, once you get used to a certain play style or rhythm, no matter how out of the ordinary it may be, you should play the same as any other style or rhythm.
I know a lot of FPSers that use reverse y-axis. I have no idea how they can move the mouse down and aim upwards. That idea is foriegn to me. Fatal1ty has been using that play style since he was first crowned a world champion.
Often time, however, you have players (mostly scrubs) that get it stuck in their minds that if they change their play sytle to match a professional, that somehow they will become a professional themselves. The problem with that logic, is that it takes you out of your normal comfort zone of how you know how to play the game, and is often detrimental to your play.
