That’s how my luck ran in Gens 4 and 5. I think 70% of my shinies are from those two gens alone.
Still have yet to come across a Gen 7 shiny, despite the increased chances.
Dang, we’re like on different sides of the spectrum. Well with the new Ultra Wormhole feature I think your luck will soon change. I actually got a Shiny Drapion from one of the wormholes and luckily I had a Jolly Synchronize Abra in my party. Bear in mind all mons found in Ultra Wormholes have 3 perfect IVs automatically.
The crazy thing about getting that stat spread on Shiny Rotom is that the parent was a 4IV Rotom.
Kommo-O looks like it can be the bottleneck in a good OU team once you get to the top of the ladder. There’s a ton of things that just put a stop to its gameplan.

I may skip this gen then. I am not buying a switch only to play Pokemon. They waited too long to try to put this on console. Maybe they saw the success Pokemon Go had and decided it was time but this should have been done at least by gen 5.
