(Yeah, the lack of bickering would definitely be better given how much of it made up the 700+ posts that I caught up on.)
I have to admit that thus far I am really unenthused about what we’ve heard of Ultra so far. Outside of Lycanroc: Dusk, whose very existence automatically fucks up over the other two forms even if it’s horrible, so far Ultra just seems like it’s just insipid Z-moves galore and more lazily designed legendary pokemon. Yay. Another Rock/Steel pokemon. Woo…
I know there’s technically another month–more like two weeks at best before it gets hacked and data-dumped like the regular games did–before the game drops, but the thing I find the most weird is that there’s been no hints at improving Silvally given that thing is closer to being of the “face”. Unless for some reason all of its improvements are through Move Tutors, which is possible, it’s more than a bit depressing that Arceus-Synthetic is going to such so much. It has such potential that it’s currently wasting–all 17 fucking forms of it.
If we get Rapid Spin and/or Defog tutors I’ll be very happy man. I feel generations of team building has been hindered by relying on select and oftentimes rarely obtained hazard removers.
Being able to use Rapid Spin Mega Lopunny or Defog Poison Heal Gliscor would take away so many burdens when constructing a team.
Give Dragonite Brave Bird or an entirely different move so he doesn’t have to be reduced to Fly and Z crystal.
Give Hail a buff to decrease water damage in half buff physical defense of Ice types and doubles chance of freeze going off on moves.
Primerina Sparkling Aria does double damage to burn targets

Rapid Spin
Gunk Shot
Close Combat (Kommo O)
Hurrican (removes hazards as a buff?) maybe make the accuracy 80 if they don’t add Defog?
What other mon needs a move that will make it better? We need those Tutors for that purpose alone. Tryna think but I haven’t played SuMo since my DS was stolen almsot 6 months ago.
For the love of all that is good please no. Ice as an offensive type is already good as it is, no need to make the most broken status in the game even better.
They can nerf it. Maybe make it last 3 turns and only 1 mon can be frozen at a time. Correct my knowledge but only 1 move in the game has a 20% freeze rate right?
AFAIK there isn’t. I believe you might be thinking of Tri Attack, which has a 20% chance of burn, paralysis or freezing which makes it only ~6.6% chance of freezing in that case.
So basically 20% to freeze? It thaws out in 3 turns. Maybe 2. I don’t think it is that bad if you change it up. Hell spore exist and potentially cripples a mon for the entire match. Especially if you limit it to 2 turns.
