Just an FYI for those using the Isle Evelup to level up their mons. It doesn’t matter what order you arrange your moves to avoid being overwritten the process is seemingly random. So if you have a mon and you deleted their TM/expendable move to save space to prevent this, once it learns a move to take the slot it will randomly overwrite an existing move from either slot. In previous gens you lost moves from the bottom row upwards, but this doesn’t seem to follow the same formula.
I just lost a necessary transfer only move on one of my mons and now I’m pissed because I have no way of replacing it since its a legendary. Gaaah!!!

That’s gotta be some of the dumbest of dumbfuck GameFreak decisions.
Now I have a borderline useless mon since it had an essential coverage move that was transfer only. You’d think Gamefreak would recognize that transfer only moves are special. The same goes for pre-evo moves as well, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Hopefully with Pokémon Switch comes out the tutors will return, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s String Shot tutor or some shit.

Is it me or has this game already died? Like it was hype the first 2-3 months now its kinda meh. I am waiting in the new version to come out with tutors at this point. Hell I didn’t even transfer any Mons over from poke bank. I spend more time on showdown over touching the game.
Im still having loads of fun this gen. Most fun since dpp metagame. Hopefully stars/4th gen remakes dont ruin it
The metagame is alright but I still feel like I’m playing with half a game since so many things are unavailable.
Plus I get a feeling there’s a ton of Gen 7 Pokémon who’d benefit from ORAS tutors.

Exactly. Mean the metagame is cool (still praying they don’t ban greninja) but its missing so much. The game I don’t even touch anymore. Its just straight showdown

Yeah everyone hates Greninja except me. That thing is tied for my favorite Mon of all time next to Dragonite. Best believe if Pokemon existed in real life I am going straight to Kalos to get my Greninja.

It’ll be interesting to see how both fare in the metagame. Mega Houndoom got a buff while Mega Heracross got a speed nerf 1st turn and is in a Fairy/Steel dominated meta.
