No, I can gauge exactly how dangerous it is… with an item attached boosting its speed or damage output. I can also gauge that Lele damn sure doesn’t like taking a 130 BP(possibly more with STAB) attack removing said item that it typically depends on, either outright killing or crippling it horribly.
People just don’t want to deal with the fact their fat pink hoes can’t blindly switch in and call it a day, and that they can’t just click Sucker Punch/Bullet Punch either.
Sometimes you have to get esoteric to deal with threats rather than simply trying the obvious, having it fail, then whining about having to think more deeply about how to beat them.
There’s also the fact that 6v6 singles is broken beyond the point of salvaging, and has been since at least Platinum, but you’ll keep trying to save that albatross anyway…
Toxicroak is going to be an answer to at least finish and Bulu. I need to see of it can tank a thunderbolt from koko and if +2 life orb sucker Punch eats Lele.If so then that could see some play
hello duders, i remember you all from xy… got the game on tuesday, beat it, working on the dex now. not going to bother with comp, but it is fun to read how everything is exactly as it always has been.
i really do think sun moon is my favorite game of the entire series. it has amazing music, and the exploration and gimmicks felt really cool. the story was not bad either.
Even though it got nerfed to only dealing 25% on the second hit Power-Up Punch still gives it +2 attack and it is still bulky as hell and tears through teams easily, hence why I kept it banned.
Anyway, I’m still setting up the Elite 4. I’ll be selecting the members based on how this tournament goes + personal preference (Start the bribes).
However…
SRK BATTLE TOWER
The Tower of the Ascending Dragon stands before you. Ready to Climb?
The rules for this are pretty simple. Anyone can enter and they will be matched up with a random player to fight one 3v3 Pokemon battle. They keep going until they reach seven victories, at which point they will face the Master of the Tower.
Rules:
No Legends or Ultra Beasts (unless you’re the Master, then you may choose one). Also nothing on the SRK banlist may be used by anybody.
For this mode I’m hard-banning Aegislash (cue the tears).
No Same Pokemon, no same items.
Each person may bring 6 pokemon but can only select 3.
Hey I have a new team in mind I’m currently working on
Incineroar
Starmie
Weavile
Tsareena or Tapu Bulu
Mimikyu
and final slot still undecided.
Incineroar as a bulky attacker that’s sp def invested
Starmie as spin support and special attacker
Weavile as Pursuit traper and physical attacker
Tsareena as scarfed attacker
Mimikyu as a set up phsyical sweeper
Edit @“po pimpus”
Incineroar: Adamant/ Choice Band or assault vest/ Darkest Lariat, Flare Blitz, Fake Out, Earthquake ( shouldn’t use this with Bulu ) or Cross Chop
Starmie: Timid/Life Orb or leftovers/ Surf, Thunder Bolt, Rapid Spin, Recover or Ice Beam
Weavile: Jolly/ Life Orb or Choice band/ Ice Shard, Throat Chop, Brick Break, Icicle Crash or Sword Dance. ( It can learn Knock off but you need ORAS games for that )
Tapu Bulu: Don’t know much about him other than the healing effects of grassy terain and he’s a Tapu
Mimikyu: I’m now thinking of switching him out for A Marowak because I was mainly using Mimikyu for the ghost typing to check fighting type moves. And I want to keep the bulk that Incineroar offers.
For that set up, I like Bulu better as Grassy Terrain will keep all your mons regenerating health, especially the glass cannons that are Weavile and Starmie.
Your team will appreciate some sort of hazards, so you might want to look into something that can set rocks or spikes. Can’t think of anything else until I see some movesets/natures/etc.
I would use Bulu>Tsar on that team; it will appreciate the healing more and Bulu hits hard.
Unless you reeeeeeeally like Inciniroar I would switch it with A-Marowak. That way you have a lighting immunity and hit harder at the cost of some bulk.
I would use either Minior or Skarmory for your final slot. This team needs some hazards and both of those mons excel at putting them up.
Hmm I was thinking of that. Do I go with rocks or spikes? Or do I need both? I’ll take a look at Minior. Oh and I think I’ll drop Mimikyu for the A Marowak. I think Skarmory may be the better choice for my hazard setter to check my ground weaknesses with these two fire types.
Edit: Oh Minior is rock and fly. That changes things. I might use it. Does rock resist rock? Because I already have 3 pokes weak to rock. Can’t have more rock weakness.
