Good match bro. I was running FB on Char X and it dies waaaay too fast, I usually just start him in my matches because once those rocks go up he’s hard to use.
Just like we are well within our right to point and laugh at them (and Mood) whenever they ban something that actual competitors beat the fuck out of regularly, while they whine and moan until the “council” removes it.

Quite simple really, the top tiers should have been crushed an replaced by pokemon with different checks and counters multiple times by now, instead anything that runs a tear on the established top tiers gets banned.
Stall in gen vi became really copy and paste when they essentially auto lose to mega sableye. In the 5 minutes after that devilish place banned, stall opened up more. It’s probably gonna be more of the same this gen when things settle down
@Iduno The unfortunate part about pokemon’s balance is that the very best things have no counters. Nintendo recognized Mega Kangaskhan and Mega Gengar as such a problem, that they allowed uber legendaries into the last VGC. And somehow Mega Gengar, and Mega Kangaskhan STILL saw play even with things that made it in such as Mega Groudon and Mega Kyogre.
And this time Megas are just outright not allowed. You’re acting like Nintendo has any type of foresight or cautiousness before they just release a new game mechanic or pokemon. In generation 7(SuMo), a new director took over for this game, and decided to make a game that has nothing but viable pokemon with useful and refreshing abilities and some rebalances. If Nintendo made (GOOD) balance changes in every newly released game like they did in this one, we wouldn’t be in the current situation we are in with the competitive balance of the game.
Smogon format is glorified house rules, but they are with good reason.
One thing I must say that is surprisingly fun is doubles. I mean I find myself playing doubles more and more over singles. Maybe Po was right about that. Diversity with teams, different strategies, its really a fun meta.
