Most everybody repeated whats already known, but its been like that since last cycle. It pretty much seems like fail at this point but who knows.
If you want fresh tech then you have to go with an obscure team, even though it might not be competitive.

Get a little creative with the teams, instead of just sticking top-tiers with each other. Obviously for a team to be competitive it’ll have some top-tier in it, like the ones I listed above. But teams like those I think could offer some new tech, even the ones with obvious pairings, like Dante/Frank, She-Hulk/Spencer, Trish/Doom and so on and so forth.
If we’re just running obscure we may as well run my team. I guarantee the synergy is there as well as room for a lot of tech growth.
OK then. I’ll wait out for this cycle for ammy goodness…

^ and this is why no one will want to contribute to the thread. No one wants to stick around unless its a character they personally like/love OR a team they selected. Which sucks honestly this is supposed to be for the community to grow and the game to evolve but without players trying to come to the fore front and work on the teams and tech nothing will get accomplished.
Please lets leave the negative attitudes and comments out the thread and just focusing on doing the work on the teams. If your character/team doesn’t get selected please try to contribute anyways, BUT DON’T SAY YOU WON’T CONTRIBUTE TIL A CHARACTER/TEAM IS PICKED. It may be your insigt or playstyle that may develop something the community overlooked or didn’t think about. And this is not aimed at one particular person this is for EVERYONE myself included.
Ill probably be in the thread lurking but I play the game from looking at teams I think of. Thats just me. Ill happily contribute and look at this team but I enjoy playing teams I think of randomnly in class. Thats just me. Expecting everyone to contribute because this thread is a good idea is absolutely ridiculous.
I am not EXPECTING people to participate, BUT since this is a community thread it would be nice to get as many people helping as possible. It doesn’t help if people lurk the threads and see people saying they don’t want to participate because it makes the thread seem pointless or ass and that will deter people from posting and exploring.

I have no problem with this team since it is a team that meets the criteria.
Seriously tho…we already did a Task/Ammy team…I know we did the 2 week deal but that doesn’t mean we should at least try to keep it fresh.

Dante unfortunately is still not usable for the next cycle. In terms of characters who have yet been used I would probably say Merk’s team is a go for next cycle. I guess we should maybe start another poll or random number selector to see what teams get picked. Also

Also, I’m not pushing hard for my team or anything (don’t get me wrong, I would love to have more tech going into FR.) I don’t think I get a really get a suggestion this week. But in a week of stating the obvious…I did that too…so maybe I do. 
I was mostly just posting in response to the ‘let’s get some random underused characters’ list. I don’t want to go too random and be floundering for lousy synergy.
I def. think we’re gonna have to step away from explored pairings if we’re going to keep this thread alive and rolling, though. We’re not going to get people in here unless they feel like they can provide something new and get rewarded it for it. Mags/Dorm is a little hard to come up with something fresh so last cycle was kind of limited to Felix shenanigans.
Also, I really think we need to push to have a really strong opening post from the originator for every week sharing what is already known about the team and what we feel like we’re missing. It’s way too broad to just say, ‘This team…go!’

I think it’s a better idea to just consider point character status for each new cycle. Once we get to the end, the only thing left will be stuff like Hsien KO/Arthur/Iron fist teams otherwise.

I still feel like this has been a bit too focused on top tier teams and that’s supposed to be why we have the 2 week rule. At worst, we have a good chance of having a non top-tier team every 3. So far, though, the ‘lowest’ we’ve gotten on teams is Dante/Storm/Hawkeye. I think we need to force ourselves to have a lower tier week and see if we can actually come up with anything worthwhile with characters that are normally overlooked.
I feel like it’s a waste of manpower having people here lab up Doom/Ammy or Dorm/Mags when they’ve already been picked to death because they’re the obvious/straightfoward tier picks. There’s a lot of teams that make up for the lack of top-tier characters with great synergy. I think we’d be more successful if we tried to focus on that rather than rehashing old hat teams and pairings.
I think it’s characters like Hsien-Ko, Arthur, GR, RR that we should be looking into.
If anything I say character that people always say have so much potential (RR, Thor,etc) we should focus on those characters. The only problem is nobody wants to work on a character that they don’t know personally. I will work on any team just pick something. Either way we need a new team selected. This should be the 1st week of the new team yet we still have not agreed on 1 team.
I suggest Thor-spark/Doom-missiles/Ironman-unibeam for no particular reason
