Comics In The '90s: Did Anything Good Come Out?

I hated the '90s Superman comics. That “Triangle Numbering” system they used where each different title followed an issue of a different title was terrible. And you could always tell when a writer had to drop the story he cared about in favor of writing Part 3 of 7 of some other writer’s story. I don’t like that stuff.

Also, the haircuts were horrible. Superman should not, under any circumstances, sport a mullet. And what the heck was up with Superboy’s bowl-buzzcut?

i know many won’t agree with me, but Slapstick was from the 90’s…

Jubilee, Gambit, Bishop…

the “What The?!” and some of the better "What If?"s were also born out of the 90’s…

Gen 13 was a pretty decent comic imo… shrug…

i was going to suggest “the sandman” vertigo books, but looks like it came out in 1989, so that’s technically 80’s…

Bone came out in the 90’s

Hellboy…

um… this is tough… Ghost World and the whole Danliel Clowes/comic novel type comics…

I enjoyed Generation X and X-Man.

Early 00’s I know, but I enjoyed Soldier X because Cable had finally reached X-Mans power levels.
