Me and my buddy Eastern are working on a comic involving a team of werewolf hunters. It so happens that we’ll be able to publish a ten page preview in the annual comic of the college I’m going to. Cool eh?
Anyway, here’s some sketches I did of the leader guy. I’ll probably update this thread as I do more work so tell me what you think.
Here’s number 2. We actually have no backstory yet for this guy, I just wrote in what I thought he might be thinking.

I love it. It actually reminds me of the character from ghost in the shell (not trying to say anything ^_^) Need to work on the gun a little bit but other than that you are a very good artist, keep it up.

Thanks guys, glad you like my work. And Vix, you’re right it’s the goggles that make him look like the guy from GITS. They’re supposed to be snow goggles. In the preview we’re doing he battles this HUGE fucking werewolf in a snowy field, hence the goggles. And yeah, the gun needs work I gotta find reference for a revolver.

Anyway, Did a few quick sketches of the wolf to get a feel for how he’s gonna look. Here’s front view,
very nice and detailed , I love how you did that. The body seems so small while the arms are huge but i guess thats the way it has to be in order to run on all fours. Great job
EDIT: Thanks Vix, yeah you’re right I gave him those huge arms for running on all fours, I was kindof thinking of the way gorillas run. And to give him more of a sence of strength and power.

Been experimenting with some blood splattering effects. All you need is a toothbrush and a jar of Indian ink for an instant bloodbath.
