The Western Canadian Championships are being held February 16-17 in Edmonton, Alberta. We’re really looking forward to having some Americans come up, especially Seattle and Portland players.
Games include CCC2 ST, 3S, MvC2, DR, AC, A3, and XSF. 1st place prizes for the more popular games are expected to exceed $500 each.
Just bring a sweater. It gets cold up here.

Yeah, I wouldn’t travel very far for CCC2 ST… if it was DC or arcade, then I’m pretty sure some of us Seattle peeps might consider it?

This we are aware of. Shiro has came to us about other tournaments in the same area several times now. Still, if you’re 19 or older, and you like road trips, this could be fun.

I think if I wasn’t in school I could do it. Gwop comes in handy though, fuck driving to Vegas the mini van AC isn’t that ice cold.
I would go and offer to help drive if it wasn’t my old beater. But I highly don’t have the gwop/transportation and probably 3 days off of work it would take to get there, which sucks cus I’d love to play some new people…
