hi all EC,
im not sure if im allowed to post this here and im sure that this would be considered a last minute thing but im having a couple of people come by today to play some cvs2. we got one more week until ecc 12.5 and ctf wont cut it for me being that its on console. i dont have a spectacular setup, its just an open basement with carpet a 20 inch tv with a ps2. 2 mas sticks will be there and if i got a high head count i can ask sci to bring his ps2.
live in queens ny last stop on the E or F train followed by a 10 min bus ride to drop you right in front of my house. if it gets late and yall need a ride to the train i can do that for you guys.
anyway if anyone is interested lemme know. i know arturo lilves in queens so it would be nice for him to come through.
side note ::::::: i heard 2 months ago MD came down to ctf and no good players was there except for sci. i feel bad about that so next time you guys do come down throw a post up somewhere in advance.

i will have to agree with chibi on this. it’s not enough time for people to prepare for a console tourney in this.
aside cvs2 and possibly tekken, i would rather not schedule any other official console tourneys. side tourney’s are possible, but my aim with this is mostly arcade this time around since ecc12/evo east had their showing. this if for everyone who missed arcade marvel and breaksteaks
btw, for the record i <3 arcana, so there’s no hate in this decision
if arcana is somehow released early cough cough i’d allow someone to host a side tourney.

so far, i would like to only announce arcade mvc2, 3s tournaments at this time.
both double elim with double elim pools. top 32 advances to a reset bracket.
mvc2 will have a re-entry pool.
console cvs2 and tekken dr are possibilities, but i have to reconfirm with the owner.
side note: does anyone know if there are any major engine differences between arcade and console dr? (aside jinpachi)
As much as I’d love to keep this open since I’m from Queens, this has got to go. Just because 2 NYC heads are mods here doesn’t give all NY a free pass to post what the fuck they want.
**If you make the next gathering, I’ll bring in Arcana Heart plus some other games if that’s the case. Since you’re in Queens, it’s not that hard for me to travel almost anywhere around as long as I know which stop takes me there w/ the E/F train.
Either way, I’m from N/W Queens, probably the only guy in Astoria that actually cares about SF more than the majority of people that live there. If not, then I haven’t seen anyone else stepping up to do so :arazz:
So, yea. Let me know the next time you wanna get together and shit. Even if it’s right before SSN just PM me and make a get-together.
