I play MVC2 with a number of friends on occasion, and one of them is a fan of Jin’s AAA. He has really good timing with it, and I’m not sure how to handle it (with any character). It doesn’t seem to matter whether I dash in, jump in, or super jump in - I either get hit by it or block and get pushed away. He will also use it as part of his rushdown and it’s really vicious.
I’m not sure what to do. Can anyone advise me?

Marvel’s a team game: what’s his team, what’s yours? If you can’t rush him down, throw projectiles.

if you use cable that should be easy.

Thanks for your replies. I should probably include that I am not very good and none of us really play on what you could say is an advanced level, but he’s the best of my friends and can pull out some wicked combos.
Usually his team will be Akuma, Jin and one other. Sometimes he will include Zangief and abuse his transform and Jin’s AAA to keep me locked in the corner. He’ll also throw in Capcom, Thanos, and Cyclops.
My teams, when I’m not just randoming, will usually be something like Cable Magneto Psylocke or Cable Psylocke Sentinel. Sometimes I’ll throw a Storm into the mix too. He likes to bitch when anyone plays Cable since we don’t really know how to play him well enough to do more than lots of Viper Beams and Fierce Punches, and then responds by super jumping and spamming hadokens with Akuma (which I also don’t know what to do about besides block).
Man you play Cable you can punish any assist. And you got psylocke too you can call psylocke to set magneto up for a double snap assist kill or use psylocke to set cable up for a ahvb x5.
I think you missed the part where I said I’m not really all that advanced enough to pull off a 5x AHVB. 
Ok, use an assist like Captain Commando or juggernaut. Jump in, block, wait for him to call jin. When you block Jin, call commando/juggy. Boom! Massive damage and they fly off the screen for a bit.

While I can guess, I can’t say I’m entirely sure what that means, and I probably can’t do it.
