Well…if he DOES sell his white PSP, I’ll take this one back that I just got from GameStop. But it has to be within 7 days or I can’t do it. Then again, I don’t know if they’ll take it back if I upgrade the firmware lol.
I’ll talk to him about it tomorrow, he just got a new video card and wants to make extra cash so he can hook up 3 monitors to it.
Who wants to sell me some PCP?
Hey guys, I’ve got a question. I want some nice over-the-ear headphones for my PC, PSP, and iPod, for gaming and music, like in the $60-$100 range. Do you know of any good ones I should try to get? I already use a decent desktop microphone with my mixer, so I don’t need a full headset, really. Size isn’t an issue as long as it’s comfortable to wear, since when not in use the headphones will be either on my desk or around my neck.
So far, I’m looking at the Audio-Technica ATH-ES7, the Creative Fatal1ty MKII, the JVC HA-RX900, the Sony MDR-V6, and the Sennheiser EH250. Any advice?
Edit: Considering this a little bit more, the AudioTechnica ATH-ES7 is an amazing deal and easily better than all the others I’ve considered so far. The Sennheiser HD448 might be a good competitor, but apparently I’d have to use an amp or something to get decent volume out of my iPod.
I don’t really know much about the specific models, but I would buy a pair of Sennheiser over just about anything from JVC, Sony, or Creative.
Seconded. Although the Audio-Technica ones are on par, in my opinion.
another 2 cents. I used to sell headphones at Circuit City and Sennheisers were by far the most comfortable but you did usually pay a little bit more for it. They usually had a deeper bass sound as well. Audio-Technica weren’t very competitive at the time but, they’ve started making some stellar cans.
My TOP CHOICE is the Sennheiser HD555. They sound great and are by far the most comfortable headphones EVER (especially for those who wear glasses). The pads are VELOUR. It’s like laying on a pillow with amazing sound built in. Good for long listening sessions
I used to have a pair of Koss headphones that I loved to death. I saw a pair at Blockbuster of all places at Hudson and High St. the other day. Not sure how much they cost.

I use a pair of Koss headphones as well, and they’re like 20 years old and work perfectly. Got 'em from my mom.
lol, Koss is pretty shitty compared to most other stuff.
But I can’t make fun because I had a Koss stereo that I used for like 10 years that I had no complaints with.
They seem to be built well at the very least.
