Noize aka Anthony - Thanks for coming over for Tekken Thursdays. It was cool to see everyone there. Hope you learned a few things and you’ll want to go practice some more. I saw you putting things together as the night went on, and I’m sure you’ll have improved by next week
Jacob - I don’t know if you read the forums, but MAN!!!, you played really well last night. I see you using frame advantages and truly playing an all-around technical game. It’ll be great to see you actually understand the BR engine and get some serious BR strats worked into the mix. I hope to see you again soon at Tekken Thursdays.
Also, a BIG thanks to the 2-D crew (DJ_San, Avi, Tiggy) for showing up in force, playing, learning, and using group-mind to work out strats. I think everyone will improve with time. See you guys again soon.

Games at my place on thursday. Show up if you care…I guess…
I’ll be showing up on Thursday. It was a bad weekend to host a tourney man. Do you have any idea how busy people can be on a holiday weekend? There were lots of parties going on that weekend, and I’m sure a lot of people don’t want to enter a tourney with a hangover. We still have a better community than a LOT of places. Sure there’s a lot of places with a better community too. But that doesn’t degrade what people have done for this community.
How many other cities in the Midwest have been able to get DAIGO to come to a tourney? So please don’t lose faith in our community just because there was one tourney with a bad turnout.
LOC, you showing up Weds to Rakae’s place? I figured since most people go to Game Nights on Weds, you’ll be able to introduce alot more people into Tekken 6. Thursday is fine as well, but you only got one TV man, which is fine. But if it ever grows, you know how that’ll be. But seriously man, I’m going to have to agree with Clembo and say that people did not come due to Holidays and the like.
This isn’t meant as a knock on the game, or Tim, or anyone who plays it. But you gotta keep in mind pretty much nobody plays Tekken around here.
I mean there are like a few people that are casually playing it right now because it’s a new release (in addition to the few guys who really do play it).
I’ve never seen a 3D game played at a single game night, tourney around here or whatever.
12 people for a smaller gamestop tourney doesn’t seem all that bad.
