I’m back from Dave & Buster’s Polaris and all their games have been updated. They have several games ArcadeFly hasn’t seen before, so wait a day or so for those to post. They are the first place in Columbus to get a lot of relatively new games, like Guitar Hero Arcade, H2Overdrive (Hydro Thunder 2), Twisted: Nitro Stunt Racing, and Ghost Squad Evolution. Heads Up Challenge: WSOP edition is a two-player cocktail table Texas Hold 'Em poker game. Power Putt Golf is a mini-golf game from the people that made Golden Tee. Global Arcade Classics is a legit MAME cabinet with 80 games on it. The only fighting game at either D&B is this cabinet’s Mortal Kombat 1. It’s forgiven because that cab also has Rampart. And yes, there’s a big ass UFO catcher just like the other D&B. The DDR X is the same shitty cabinet GameWorks uses.
Dave & Buster’s Polaris opens as the second-best arcade in Columbus. They’re no GameWorks but they have a ton of new games you can’t find anywhere else right now. If you’re a gamer, it’ll be worth a trip to travel to this D&B for racing games and gun games, then drive across Polaris Parkway to Magic Mountain for In The Groove 2 and retro games.
Wow, it has both Dragon’s Lairs and Space Ace. I remember when these games and their LaserDisc setups were considered the top of the line and the leading edge in arcade technology. Now they’re just a small part of a single machine that’s little more then a dressed-up PC. I’m showing my age.
Sounds like mostly garbage, but the Mame cab sounds cool.

I got SFIV running on my mame game at top resolution. I have a AMD duel core chip and just had to run an AMD app and not it runs fantastically.
Also got it running with the XArcade. It plays better than the 360, I am amazed.

Ummmm, try dragging the entire VP folder to your C: root directory, and changing the .exe compatibility to 95 or 2000

I take it back, though; Mortal Kombat 1 is not something anybody will make a trip to an arcade to play. Would it kill them to replace one of their 20 or so redemption machines with a CvS2 or something? What is Dave and Buster’s’ issue with fighting games? For us SRK people, they have nothing that will keep us coming back every week like GameWorks does.
