Hey dudes. I think I’m gonna hold gathering here on Saturday to prep for old school games tournament… and SF4 I guess.
Pretty much same shit as last time. Just head over whenever afternoon and bring what 360s/PS3s if you can. Definitely gonna play some dumb old stuff but we’ll be playing real games too so don’t let that detour you if you aren’t into classics/bad games.

Speaking of things only three people on this thread care about, the Mamebox DVD project is cancelled. There’s no way I can take my 25GB MAME cabinet setup and reduce it to 4.7GB and still have everything that people want to play. I think I’ll just buy a 16GB flash drive tomorrow and loan that out to whoever wants the software.
As a follow-up to a post in the previous Columbus thread, I finally finished up that blue curly maple stick I was working on for a coworker. I know everyone is just waiting to put some sports-related art on their next stick, too. The wiring could be a little cleaner, and I’ve got some techflex sleeving on the way for my next sticks.

I’m also making a custom 360/PS3 stick for Bing (a rectangular design), and can do others if there is interest.
We got them at Giant Eagle, though I don’t know that they have a monopoly on hot dog flavored potato snacks.

Has the KOF XII patch hit 360 yet? I know it’s been released on PS3, but haven’t seen any updates on the 360 version.

The lag still sucks on the PS3 version. It actually feels like a game now, but still unacceptable for online play. Three-bar connection in XII feels equivalent to a one-bar connection in BB.
