Yep, all ages allowed.
Get Hyped!!! I’m hyped everyday. I think its because this will be my first tournament and I’m pumped to get my foot in the tournament door as well as meet new people.
lol i didnt say st way to misrepresent
oh yea so you didnt i just saw super and for some reason my mind went to ST …way to bust me out in my own tourny thread jerk remember that time i had the idea to put something between the cab and your truck window (dont kill me wayne made me say it)
lol remember that time you bet me 5$ that the cabinet wouldnt lay flat in the truck bed?
Anyone interested in that Marvel Mix at Rocket Punch, holla at a black guy. I want to know how many I should burn.
Just joined the site and would really like to be a part of this event. I’m not the best fighting game player but, I’m trying to get better at it. Definitely need help in this area. I live in Xenia and nobody plays video games here.
I own a couple superguns I’d love to bring…as well as a pretty decent CRT to play them on. I have about 20 JAMMA PCB’s that I’m sure you guys would get a real kick out of. I MAY even be able to convince my friend to allow me to borrow his Daraku Tenshi (Fallen Angels) PCB. It’s a very rare game you’ve probably only played in MAME.
So, I guess my only question is how does one get in on this event?
Thanks in advance and I hope I’ll be allowed to come.
Jon
yo you need to bring a super gun to his shit I will waive your venue fee if you bring one …to be a part of this event all you have to do is come to this address on this day (see front page)
John: remember that time you wanted to play MK for money and then suddenly “the pad” sucked when I was Barreling you
remember that time i barreled you with the actual ruby heart barrel? hence the term barreling
yes …yes i do …remember that time I had the idea to wheels on chris’s cab
Great! I’m glad I don’t have to have 10000 posts here to join you guys.
What I can bring is two superguns and maybe my consolized Atomiswave. I should be able to fit two TVs in my car plus an LCD for the Atomiswave, as it has VGA by default…looks amazing, BTW.
As far as games, quite a list of stuff. Here’s just a few things:
Jamma PCB
Final Fight
TMNT
Simpsons
Sunset Riders
Cadash
Battletoads
X-Men (this is the Japanese one w/powerups)
Sailor Moon
Crime Fighters
Aliens
Knights of the Round
Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom
etc…yes, there are more.
Neo Geo
Garou: MOTW
Blazing Star
Last Blade 1
KOF 96, 2K, 2K2-2K3
SNK vs. Capcom
etc.
Atomiswave
Fist of the North Star
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum
Rumble Fish
Knights of Valor
KOF Neowave
I could go all out and bring all of that, if you guys would have room for three TV set ups. I’ll definitely need help getting it out of my car. Only problem I see would be reminding people not to leave their drinks around the set ups as much of the games are not water friendly and very fragile.
Sorry about the long post and, if any one has any suggestions, let me know.
Jon
Hey man, the support on the Superguns is amazing. Are you cool with me bringing an ST board and us running a 16-man ST tourney? If you don’t have 6-button sticks on any guns it’s cool because I have PSX–>JAMMA converters.
Also I’ll bring the CPS2 18-in-1 if anyone wants to run tournies for A2/A3/XvSF/MVC1/COTA – I bet we can get a lot of small tournies knocked out quick since they would all be under 10 people. IMO as many fighting-game tournies we can run on arcade would be the best use of superguns, although respect for offering up the non-FG stuff!
This will be seeeerious and get extra stream hype no doubt, having the variety. Also it will be much easier to stream from TV/supergun than the cab a la Summer Slam
ST, as in STV? I’ve never tried it on my superguns before but, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on it. One of the guns I have is a Raijin Sigma that has six buttons for both players built right into the system. It’s pretty impressive. The other, I would need to have specially modded controllers so, it’s probably just best, if you want to do six button stuff, that you use the Sigma. And, yes, it does have a kick harness.
The Atomiswave has to use my specially modded Sega Saturn modded Neo pads because they’re the only ones that are wired for the 5th button. I realize that might be a deal breaker for people that only use sticks but, that’s all I have for it.
Jon
Super Turbo not Sega Titan V
I know this will make someone a happy camper :woot:
Also, ST and XvSF side tournies!
