For right now it’s a one day thing starting at 2:00 and going till 2:00 am. But either way we got mad hours to get some crack in! There are some new players in Augusta trying to play Arcana so it’ll be a good chance for all of us to lvl up together!
New players are always a good thing and 2pm-2am sounds perfect. I’ll see what other peeps wanna go to Augusta as well.

I also enjoyed casuals yesterday and watching Scorpion vs Kung Lao XD You guys get ridiculously hype for that game and shouts out to Kano aka Choke-a-bitch. The AH3 casuals were also nice. I’m slowly understanding how Weiss is supposed to be played and will experiment with a few more arcanas.
I’ve decided to go to Wild Wing Cafe with my brother tonight. If anyone wants to come along, let me know

Hey Guys i am trying to get a big tournament together for July or August in Greenville SC, and I mean big the venue i am renting will hold a maxium of 350 people!!! Plenty of room for all of us, Food will be availible as well. We are going to be holding it at a hotel and the manager of the hotel will cut me a break on the ball room if we can get some people to stay there. He is discounting down a room rate to $49 from $79. I was hoping that after the tournament was over we could stay for casuals and everone would only have to go to their rooms instead of having to worry about driving home. I am advertising this heavily at at a lot of places and trying to secure sponsorships so we can have prizes as well as cash prizes. I am also working on setting up a stream.
I have a few questions though on this,
there are two dates that they have availible July 16th and August 20th, does any one see any conflict with either date?
Second if i did this how many of you would consider renting a room for the night?

The only tournament i heavily advertised was in April of 08 and we ended up with over 100 people, i want this to be on that level or bigger.

It goes w/o saying that i would be at this tournament, regardless of if its in July or August, so long as nothing else interferes with me attending (i dont see either date being a problem now…but you never know what’ll come up a couple of weeks from now). Im a bit iffy on staying the night in a hotel room but i noticed some GA folks showing interest so if they were to stay at the hotel, i dont see the harm in Columbia folks also following suit so as to have gaming going on amongst everyone that night after the tourney (it’d only be like 5-10 dollars extra per person, depending on how many stayed in a room).
Good stuff nonetheless on organizing this sir, i hope to hear more about this soon within the coming days.
NP Mr. Bacon, i am looking forward to it. lots of shit to plan though i need consoles, tvs, games, ect. but first i need to talk to some food vendors and i am talking to a local game store about setting up a booth. Also i am trying to get a console repair store there that can mod sticks. it is going to take some time but i hope to have it concluded by the end of next week to get solid details. Shamar lined up the place already but it just the beginning. Fuck it though we need another big tournament, final round is too far away.

Had A lot of fun tonight at Wild Wing and I’ll definitely be back around Finals time. Also, THE BULLS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!! I’m not gonna lie, it was lookin’ bleak those the first 8 minutes of the 4th quarter but we finally started driving in and taking charge.
I also had fun @ wild wings tonight. I got to see a sports fan cosplay in his natural element, had some good eats, and watched a good game. Well actually that last part was kinda a lie. Cuz I was more amused by the poor brother getting hit on by the half drunk cougar. There were so many dodges, parries and guard cancels I thought I was watching a match of arcana. But in the end the guy realized that it was an 7-3 match up and just gave up and accepted her phone number. I felt sorry for him. Naturally the cosplaying sports fan and his side kick were too into the game to notice the hilarity that had ensued.
when that happened anyhow i had fun too I wish would’ve saw that lol
Damn right I was too into that match. The first half through the third quarter had me so pissed for up and down moments from that game. BTW, I’ll be having casuals at my house today around after 5pm. All of that SF talk from yesterday got me in a mood to play it today as well. Might also play Marvel a bit too.
