@ Cola: I just got a message from Mike at Maddness Gaming that they’re only staying open until 8pm on Friday until the summer. With that being said, I don’t plan on showing up tomorrow and will have casuals at my place after 7pm (around the time I would have shown up to Maddness).
I knew there was a catch to that ish being free.

Good Looking man. Make sure you get what you want out of them. Recruiters try to sell that you can enlist and then go for a Officer Candidate Slot. Where in reality you compete to become a commissioned officer. It’s 10x harder that way. Remember there are people that have been in the services that have experience, time vested, and accolades that want the same commission. Also, if you don’t get a slot, you’ll be stuck enlisted. BTW, I am not saying that being enlisted is bad, but if you know what your goals are, might as well get what you want. I am familiar with the USAF process, but not the Army’s. I am sure that they are similar though.

I also have a friend currently in the USAF that has been trying for the last 4 years to get a OCS slot. She’s been in a total of 9 years.

@ Optimus: Thank you for the comments and good luck. I found out about the officer thing on Wednesday and made some adjustments. I’m currently going for the Illustrator job first, then work toward becoming a SME since I have a Bachelor in Fine Arts. My Older brother is an Officer in the Army and he’s been giving me advise on how I should approach recruiters. Also, my little brother works as in Illustrator in the Army, so he’ll be helping me out with that as well.
Make it do what it do. Glad your bro told you about that. Recruiters will try to give you that flam otherwise. Being a part of any of the armed services is an honor, but taking the hard road of enlisting then commissioning has a very, very, very large risk.

So im a bit late but…i finally got around to finishing Wrestlmania today…and i dunno what to think…Smackdown championship being 1st on the card then my guy losing gave me a salty 1st impression…Undertaker vs HHH match i actually enjoyed but thats b/c it had the most “impact” out of any other match that night…and that ender had me thinking to myself “its still real to me…too…dammit”. the 8 minutes of Snookimania couldve been 10x better had it not come right after the Undertaker/HHH match…in fact any match after UT/HHH did poorly b/c those 2 stole the show…with that said, the final match b/t Miz/Cena was…an entertaining way to end it all. Fun Show, 4 stars…probably wouldve been 5 had i watched it with you all…i suppose there’s next year…or the next ppv???

Where is your house?
I was slightly disappointed in that Miz vs Cena match, due to the horrible wrestling on Cena’s part. The Miz literally had to make that man look good and that whole thing with the Rock helped salvage the rest of the match’s entertainment value. I didn’t even bother watching the Snookie match for obvious reasons, lol. And The Untertaker vs HHH was the best match, IMO.
I’ll be having casuals today after 1pm, if anyone wants to come by.

A few weeks ago, Justin Ledford(JustinBeHungry) from Gaffney passed away. Details are still sketchy as we’re still awaiting the results of the autopsy but cause of death seems to be heart related. If anyone wishes to know any additional details feel free to contact me for now. Please send all of your prayers, condolences, and well-wishes towards Justin’s family, Greg, Kev, and the rest of the Gaffney crew during this very tough time in their lives.
