Columbia, SC: We Now Play A Bit of Everything

Sounds cool

Myrtle Beach - Mortal Kombat, Tekken
Columbia - Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, BlazBlue, Mortal Kombat
Charleston - Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, Mortal Kombat, Tekken
Greenville - Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom

If I had to venture a guess ^

For the most part, people typically host sessions at their home if there isn’t a local gathering spot such as an arcade available to meet at.

Good luck! The only Florence player I knew of was a Smash player. It’s difficult to get a new scene growing, but hopefully Florence will be able to join the ranks as well

Yo Hi Tekk, you still got that STUFF FO SALE??!!?!?!!??!!?!?!

good to hear you’re doing good man.

also, sup cola! :3 im on call for the next two weeks but after that i plan on making a trip on a friday night/ saturday mornin. ill let you guys know when i come up

rpgking,

you guys should plan on coming to the SSF4:AE tournament coming up this Saturday (July 2nd) in Aiken. Should be a good tourney to show up for. Click here for more details.

You guys may not know this but Team fortess 2 is now free-2-play. So join me

I wish we could. Only problem is that is a 2.5 hour drive from here, and we really only have 2-4 dedicated SSF4AE players. I’ll pass the word along though. Our group is mainly composed of MvC3 players. We have 1 great ssbb player, 1-2 good mk9 players, several sf3 players, a few sc2 and sc3 players, a couple of ggxxac players and a couple on bbcs. A good portion of our scene is going to the Fayetteville tourney in a couple weeks if any of you guys are going up there.

@ rpgking : Down here in Columbia, we have a venue named Game Nation where a public casual session could be held. Just send a PM and let me know if you ever want to setup something for a Friday/Saturday. We could possibly level up, for the Fayetteville trip coming up in a couple of weeks.

@ Simplekiss: Our ride back and forth from ATL Revival had some trollin’ moments and I appreciate you taking me. Coming up there to meet Solidplay/Bama, play AH3 and be apart of that ATL hype made going there worth the trip. Also good shit on placing 4th in MK9!! Chomp Chomp Hisssssss was definitely in the building. Also,I NEED MORE ALLOWANCE!!! (yodel ay ee oooo!!!) Also, FunkyP helped me find drivers for my HD card so I can stream on the PS3 with HDMI!!!

Streaming on PS3 in HDMI? I think we need to test this out somehow. I am all kinds of interested.

“Arcana Crack”

Yeah Jaguar, ATL Revival was fun as fuck. I’m glad we went.

Really

went to ECT. Did better than I did at CEO. Went 2-2 in Tekken and Mk. I lost to Tom Brady and Magneto Halfway (the kung lao that beat Tom Brady) in Tekken I lost to SMP and Ben111, two really good Devil Jin players. Seems like I can’t get away from that character no matter what!

Ect itself was a huge mess. Extreme lack of organization and equipment. i heard that the 2nd round of Ssf4 pools didnt start til 11pm Saturday night. i hope the organizers really pull their shit together for next year. they need a bigger venue for sure.

Also, whos coming to MB on the 2nd?

Duke what’s up? Good to be back!

LOL, wow talk about good times! That was soo crazy last year at Final Round! Wasn’t Xavier interested in some of dat “stuff”?

Way to represent Simplekiss! And I gotta admit, I literally laughed out loud when I saw that clip of The Beets! It definitely brought a brotha back to the good ole days of NickToons!

Love doug

Got the entire collection of Doug on my computer yo. Might watch some when I get home.

Anyway, I was also at ECT this weekend, despite all the problems I had a pretty good time. I mainly went to get my hands on SFxT (really good game btw) but ended up getting forced into marvel. Went 2-2 and lost both times to phoenix -_-. Great tournament, great experience etc etc.

@Jag, I have something to ask you so expect an inbox sooner or later bruh.

Yeah dude, and I actually won some matches against people who definitely had been playing and practicing mortal kombat really hard. So I was in there. I lost to a Kung Lao, and a Kano player. Both of which wound up in losers finals. It was great stuff. I went 0-2 in Marvel, but the first match I played against a pretty good wesker/dormammu/doom team. The second match I shouldn’t have lost but I was just playing awful.

when I was playing some of the people in MK casuals I knew I was going to do well… this was my reaction

Way to represent that chomp chomp hiss army, SK. Respect!

I know it’s late, but…

NORTH CAROLINA BATTLE COLISEUM!!! Weekly Tournaments every Monday night (except for July 5th)!

@ Dogysamich: Yesssiiirrr!! I’ll make sure to add you when I get off work today. Was too tired to play any games yesterday after all that ATL hype

@ BushidoX: Good stuff!! I see you’ve stuck to your MvC3 grind and it paid off a bit. We may have to play again sometime (offline of course, lol).

Also, the ECT3 stream was pretty awesome yesterday. I didn’t think Aquasilk, an XBL warrior would place so well in AE, Noel Brown choking on level 3 supers in Top 16 twice was hilarious and the Yun nation was no where to be found in NJ. I also don’t know what Josh Wong was trying to do with Felicia on his team in MvC3, but she got blown up every time I saw her XD
