@ Icege: Generally, any weekend would be fine for a gathering. However, July would be a bad month to try and plan anything since there’s literally a tournament going on almost every weekend.

Installed LoL. It’s pretty fun. I’m disappointed that I have to earn bullshit points to play the characters that I want to play D:
OK, so I recently got MK9 for 360 as well in order to play with my brother.
I have to say there’s a couple of things that bother me. Nothing game-breaking, just things.
- The 360’s character select screen loads pictures a lot more slowly than PS3.
- The 360’s main menu loads much faster than PS3.
- There are a LOT LESS players playing this on XBox Live as opposed to PSN at any given time. On PSN, trying to enter a room like Netherrealm, Chaosrealm or The Pit involves constantly refreshing the rooms until a spot is open (less than 100 people in it). I found 14 people in the 360 Netherrealm. Most I saw in there was under 50. Most rooms were equally barren.
- 360 players apparently have orgasmic reactions to playing King of the Hill, since that’s all they’ll touch.
- 360 players for some reason have a worse W/L ratio. Actually I’ll go ahead on a limb and specifically state it’s most likely because of the 360 pad being so uncontrollable in this game. Or any fighting game. Ever.
- There are also people who haven’t downloaded the FREE compatibility pack on 360. Why NRS didn’t force the patch like every normal fighting game I will never know. Now watch, as people who buy Kenshi will also not be able to play him against anyone. Then Rain. Then whomever.
I used to play this game competitively. Lots of rage is involved. I’ve been out of the loop on the meta-game for a while now, so I’m not sure if all my knowledge is applicable anymore. Though I can still log on and play some game w/you if you like. My game name is TrickyCat

Had a good time playing AE yesterday and watching the Guard Crush stream. I’ll be hanging out with my brother this whole weekend since I don’t see him that often and get ready for Fayetteville next Saturday.
Anyone interested in having a BBQ this 4th of July? I can get a grill from Walmart, spare ribs ( I know Eskay loves ribs :3) and some other stuff. I might also leave early Friday afternoon for Fayetteville, so I can hang out with fam before the EZ Tournament.
@ SC: For those attending the Elite Zone Tournament next Saturday in Fayetteville, how do you guys feel about having an SC vs NC team tournament in AE and MvC3 ?
@Jaguar: I wasnt sure if you was still having casuals yesterday, otherwise i would have shown up to hang. Im down for that 4th of July action, not sure what to contribute but im sure we can discuss that later. As for that team thing, MvC3 is the only game i would have any confidence in playing, and I can think of at least 4 ppl better than me in that game. So my participation in it would only be to fill a slot if needed to.
If I were to hold a session on a Monday or Wednesday, would anyone be able to attend? Or is it strictly weekends for everyone?

He was asking about the Aiken thing this weekend (who’s planning on going to this as well?)…and im also interested in knowing SOMETHING about that tournament…but all ive seen is that youtube vid David posted and something in the comments section saying everything but AE/MK/MvC3 would get shitted on…shrugs

That team tournament was unexpected. EDIT: Justin I don’t think I need to explain this not going to MB thing. You know MY view on it :/. EDIT EDIT: You know I don’t actually think any of us are going to that Lexington tourney. So maybe we can use that day to hang with Icege and the rest of Charleston. It is a free weekend technically. (Icege I’m trying here.)
