Genei-Jin is still gonna be gay shit to deal with in AE. Yun builds meter like a god from the new videos of him. Like, a fucking, god. Free ultra if you take a divekick, too. But it doesn’t do tha tmuch damage. Of course Genei-Jin isn’t as broke as in third strike just because of the combo system in this game, but still. His meter gain is retarded good.
Seen some AE Fei Long videos, he didn’t get the cr.mk cancel (thankfully!) Looks like he’s still essentially the same character.
According to Daigo: Yun, Yang and Fei Long are easily the top three characters in the game from his first impressions. With all these downbackers being nerfed and 3 rushdowns supposedly being top 3. Downback might not be so strong in this game, unless you balrog. but fuck balrog.
Apparently, Ryu can jab srk trade to ultra again, but Ken is supposed to be the new Shoto to fear in AE.
I think I might be hyped for AE, just a little bit. I don’t really like what I see with CS2. it looks like they really wanted 2.5k avg combo damage. But some characters are already getting away with a shitload of damaging combos. It looks like it’ll be more balanced, but supposedly Arakune is easily the best character in CS2.
I’ll have to play it to see how I feel. This isn’t even me being salty about Hakumen nerfs, because they really didn’t nerf him too bad, just added more proration on all his combos, but can basically combo you from midscreen if you take a poke, and all his pokes got better in CS2, except jump.C which has slightly more recovery and has less untechable time when someone takes it.
Are there casuals going down at Madness tonight? I’ll actually be there if so.
I’m so mad at how spoiled I am when it comes to my character choice in BB that I almost want to play a different character. Fuck, I am welcoming my incoming nerfs, now…
@ SimpleKiss: I’ll be hanging out with my younger brother before he leaves tomorrow, so I won’t be there. Also, I can’t wait until I get a chance to try out both Yun and Yang (Yun mostly). I don’t know what it is about these characters, but I’ve always thought they were pretty cool. When it comes to BBCS, I’m VERY happy with the changes that both Noel and Tsubaki got I kinda wish there was a CS2 cab to play on close by.
Also, we need to talk about making this website tomorrow during the tournament too. I wanna start working on it.

I say that, but do I really mean it? No. I’m obviously salty that my character is recieving the nerf hammer of justice and looking to be ( potentially ) second worst character in the game. No matter what, however, I won’t drop him. I just like him too much! On another note, I am excited and hoping for the BB:CS tournament tomorrow. Though I know I am not quite there to go toe to toe with KidViper just yet, it’d be a good assessment of how far I’ve progressed since early October.
I wish I could get my hands on CS2, as well. I’d like to tinker around with Bang’s new schtuff. I can now cancel 2d on block. Whether or not that’ll make more things acessable with TK D nails we shall see. 5d doesn’t knock away, anymore… which takes away one of my higher damaging combos and to make matters worse, I cannot combo Daifunka with it. Maybe Ashura, but it’s not as manly.
Now… if only a real bang player go ahold of him and made some videos. Then I’d get to see what he can really do. The only character I’ve seen him win consistently against is Platinum ( lol )
Oh yes… and are casuals even happening tonight? With David not attending, a lot of people are probably gonna thinks that they aren’t.

Thomas, I’ve been motivated to beat keyon in blazblue recently. But I have not a fucking clue how to deal with litchi, even after this whole fucking time. I feel like I can’t press any buttons at all until she does something that i can punish. I’ve actually been more motivated to play CS than SSF4 lately, but whatever.
@SimpleKiss: BB:CS is the light, afterall. That’s just my opinion, ofc.
Instant blocking is my worst attribute. It’s unfortunate that KidViper plays the character that requires you to instant block more than usual. I’ve asked Jacob questions on how to handle that match up and he told me what I have read many other places: instant block everything. I don’t know how Hakumen would handle it, but if my skills on it weren’t abyssmal and if I knew -what- to instant block, I could counter with 5A/B and begin my BnB nonsense. I can block her for a good while… Do not test his Jump C, either… :x
How often do you counter assault?
Simply put, do not wait for Keyon to do something that -seems- punishable and then try to stuff it. Chances are, being that he uses Litchi, he’s gonna do something to make you think you can punish it and then just punish you. Perhaps you should use his matches against the Hakumen player (SkeletonMinion wasn’t it? or something of that nature ) from the AWA finals as reference? I can’t express my hatred for being bated to do something, then be on the recieving end of Tsubame.

Well some things I need to practice. Like Hakumens Jump 2.C will stuff Tsubame everytime because it creates a projectile barrier. But I always fuck up the timing.
I don’t particularly mind going to madness either. I understand that people don’t want to cough up the $5, but I honestly do not see a better method of meeting up. I don’t want to cram a bunch of niggas in a small area and make people uncomfortable. If the situations at my house were favorable, I’d just invite people over here.
Again: I want practice for the upcoming tournament.
SimpleKiss: If you show up at madness, you can get that practice in. Ben also needs more people to play with, since I’ve been his partner for an entire week straight.
man seems like school has ended I have had to work all the time. I don’t think I will make it out tomorrow I got jiu jitsu practice round 1 then I got to go see a friend who recently had sugery, then since I been working so much me and my friends couldn’t go to the opening of tron yesterday. So maybe by the time I finish all that it will be 10 or 11 and by that time there is no point in heading out there but when will the next casuals be I might make it to that and then the next tournament whenever that is.
@Guide: I appreciate you putting my up there for a potential top three placement, but it’s quite rude to just give the axe to those who have been playing this game before me. SimpleKiss and Jaguar have as good of a chance as any to make it that far, but I don’t plan on keeling over and letting them have it. Just like I’ll be aiming for the top and MAYBE even take on/out KidViper, they’ll be doing the same thing. Who knows? Maybe they have been sandbagging through casuals? Only time will tell.
I felt good after Madness’ casuals last night. I felt that I am actually learning what Litchi does and I can -feel- myself getting those W’s against her/Kidviper. Perhaps all of my struggles are finally paying off.
Rumor has it that some other BB players might be making an appearence. If that’s true, I wouldn’t know what to think. Especially if it is a match up I am not particularly used to. I also think that Kimchi should enter the tournament, despite only playing for two weeks.
@ GigaDukeBug: Yep, I’ll still be doing the stream and I’ve actually been testing it all morning. For some reason, Wirecast keeps crashing on my computer, so I’ll just be using FMLE.
