I just wanted to thank Eskay and AwardTour for driving to Charleston this weekend! Also, since me and Eskay already bought some meat for the cookout that was suppose to happen at Charleston, I’ll be having one on Thursday before FR and everyone’s invited. I’d also like to confirm the head count for Final Round and make sure I have everyone’s who’s attending and will need rooms: Jaguar, Eskay, Dwaine, Keyon, Simplekiss, Thomas, Ben, Pat, Mike, Byron, Xavier, Shimata, Russ and Panda Guru.
@ Eskay: If you want to request an additional room, that’s your call. I didn’t really want you to spend the extra money, if you didn’t have to. Right now, between 14 peeps/2 rooms, that comes to around $35 per person for a room. If we upgrade to suites for each room, it will be $40. For 14 peeps/3 rooms, it’ll cost more per room.
@Jaguar: About the 3rd room, i think i gave up on that idea last week when you reminded me that adding a 3rd room would increase the costs for the group as a whole. And i know money is always a concern when taking these trips of ours. So i dont think i’ll be making any attempts at trying to reserve a room. Which reminds me, I need to get an oil change for my car after work today. I almost forgot. lol
@ Eskay: Alright, sounds good. That oil change will be needed to help with gas mileage and maintaining your car. BTW, besides you and AwardTour, who else is driving? Between the 14 of us, we’ll need at least 3 cars…4 would be ideal. If I can get my driving situation squared away before FR, I don’t mind driving my car.
@ Panda_Guru: Is it still gonna just be you from Sumter going to FR?
@Jaguar: Not sure about the driving situation. As far as i know, no one has volunteered besides the 3 of us. With gas prices the way they are im kinda not surprised. Also I didnt get a chance to ask, hows dwaines tire doing? Will it be a problem for the trip? Cuz i noticed (being the speed demon that i am) that he was taking it easy on the trip back home. Your right though, we’ll definatly need 3 cars at the very least.
I probably shouldnt mention this but if Thomas ends up convincing Jared to join us in our shinnangans in atlanta, Jared will most likely want to drive himself. It was kind of a running joke on our entire trip. Poor guy wasnt used to not being behind the wheel. But dont factor that into our plans, as I said, its something i probably shouldnt have mentioned. Im sure Thomas will yell at me later if thats the case. 
Jared is having issues with wanting to attend. He doesn’t get his check from the army til the 15th and is a bit tight on money. He has money on his paypal account ( Also a small amount ) but since he doesn’t plan to enter any games, spectator fee probably won’t be out of his range. Due to his situation, he will not be able to drive. Although with our talk ( Ben, Jared, SimpleKiss and Myself ) SK had already planned on driving. Servicing his car was one of the reasons he could not make the trip with us to Charleston. That would make three cars.
Jared is on the fence for attending. He probably won’t unless the group gives him some kind of leway (SP?) I’m not asking you guys do that or even trying to enforce it. That’s your guys’ decision. I will say that he is more than willing to return the money should funds be the reason for holding him back.
On another note, He and I will probably be around for these week long crack sessions at David’s all week. The Blaz practice is much needed. A certain Duck should be at home practicing his ’ character specific ’ combos.
@eskay: My Tire is fine but I was taking it easy on the road. Can’t wear out your spare.
@cola:14 people in two rooms is alot of people. If I don’t get a suite a regular room is crap with five people. If we had 3 room it would be like 50 per person. It think Mike or Byron are driving also so maybe somebody can catch a ride with them.
I wouldn’t be opposed to helping out Jared if he truly wants to go. Is David having casuals tonight? O.o’
Also, need to know who I’m picking up for Final Round because I was under the impression that I would be driving.

@ UsagiPower: The moment I came home from work, I took a brief nap. You guys can come over after 7:30pm and game for a few hours. It’s been one of those days at work, lol.

I didnt attend casuals last night so I dont know whats been discussed thus far so im just gonna lay out my thoughts here.
@Usagi: You already know i dont mind Jared attending.
@SimpleKiss: I guess that makes you the third driver if its already been discussed and your already planning for it.
@AwardTour: Glad to hear the tire is okay. About the room, i’m personally still not opposed to a third room. My only concern was what the group wants to (or rather “can”) spend on the room. So whatever the group decides on i’ll go with. If a third room is voted on, i can make the reservation as early as today. The “Final Round” reservation page is still up so i looked through it for details. It still seems they are offering rooms for $89.00 a night.

After I made some adjustments to my reservation, I found a way we can still come out affordable with three rooms. Instead of me reserving for three nights, I just changed it to Friday and Saturday night (Since I’m assuming we’ll be leaving Sunday night). It actually reduced the hotel cost and tax making the room only $203 for the whole trip. Between 5 people a room, that’s only $40 a person. If we get suites for each room, then the cost will be $53 per person. Here’s my proposal for rooming arrangements:
Jaguar’s Room: Shimata, Panda Guru, Pat and Keyon (The Cool Kids)
AwardTour’s Room: Thomas, Ben, Mike and Byron (The Couple’s Room)
Eskay’s Room: Russ, SimpleKiss and Xavier (The Troll’s Den)
Also, I’ll be having casual at my place after 6pm today.
