Hsien-Ko is REALLY weird. But the fact that two of her supers OTG without needing any setup is sort of sexy.
@Jaguar: I think i may have left my usb stick at your place so i’ll need that to get you the rest of the stuff. As for my team, slow progress is being made. Not much info has been posted yet (that i know of) of the characters that i use so i’ve kinda just been figuring out myself. Just learned how to weapon switch mid-combo with ammy so im trying to find combo’s that maximize here dmg. Also learned how to OTG with akuma’s dive kick, still trying to learn the later half of the combo though. And Trish, well i havnt really experimented with trish that much because she’s a run away character and i feel the other 2 need more of my attention right now.
Haaaaaaah man again I would come to the tourny this saturday but I wont be getting off till 6pm. I have decided at this moment that my team is Wesker, Dante, and Chris as well as Iron Man for certain occasions (Dark phoneix huh Guitalex2007).
Funniest thing was that I beat like 3 people in a row last night just using Chris. I can use him I just guess.
I swear, I just wish X-Factor would’ve activated as opposed to whatever action she did that got me hit with that damn Iron Avenger.

I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to adjust to MvC3. I find myself doing things like hitting C instead of Assist 1. I tried the MvC2 layout but it didn’t feel natural. I’m trying to land Felicia tech consistently. Wesker is next in line and he feels pretty easy. Amaterasu at first felt weird, but when I ran through her Mission Mode I blazed through. I’m excited!

im getting another round of car repairs done this saturday… its not looking like i’ll be coming. at the very least not for the tourney. i still might roll up to chill though, im thinking how to work that out.

Well at least the only people Icege would have to worry about playing Sentinel are Mike and Myself and we try to do actual combos instead of doing the Xavier special. ( Dat Launch Button )
Went to the Dolphin’s house last night and took up Dante. His unnecessary combos entertain me and his assists are a lot better than a certain someone’s. ( Read: Zero ) Doom being able to cancel his dash animation with a jump is very funky and useful. Feels like I need a better rush down character if I am to be playing Dante/Sent - I could either wait for Jill, join the X-23 Army or just make Amaterasu or that boring reploid work. Decisions, decisions.
Oh, and yes. Taking a sentinel combo will make you feel like you’ve been scrubbed/randomed out. Even if it is a real combo and not just S. J.S. L.Rocket Punch ( Insert Super here ) KFC ( Insert Super here )
I stick by my opinion of Dormammu being the lamest character in the game. Playstyle wise.

No one’s rooming arrangements are really set in stone and There’s about 10 of us who plan on going (Me, Eskay, Dwaine, Keyon, Pat, SimpleKiss, Thomas, Ben, Mike and Byron). I was thinking it would be Me, Thomas, Keyon, You, Eskay and SimpleKiss in one room and everyone else can snuggle together. I also believe Zack and a few others may be going too, but I’m not sure.
If you still wanna come by my house after the tournament to hang out, the invitation is always there. That goes for anyone else as well. I bear no judgment on anyone.
@ Cola: I’ll be having casuals after 6pm today, if some of you guys wanna get some practice in. I never noticed Morrigan has fly/un-fly combos until now, so she’s finally doing 500K+ damage off of a Level 1. You can also fly cancel any of her normals and soul fist into an air combo that keeps your opponent in the air longer.
I’m bringing my PS3 to Nashi for practice.
Until I did Morrigan’s Missions I didn’t realize she could do fly/unfly combos, but she can EASILY do it. Still working on getting the timing right.
However, if you want to annoy someone with Morrigan even more online I have the answer. Astral Vision, X-Factor, zone the fuck out with fireballs. Turns out, I’ve noticed, that while Morrigan speeds up significantly during X-Factor her Astral Vision clone DOES NOT, so a M fireball coming their way will hit with the original, then the second while they’re still in hitstun but not simultaneously. What this means is, sadly, you could juggle people with your fireballs. It’s actually quite hilarious.
Also, try L Soul Fist XX Fly, Air H Soul Fist XX Un-fly. Doing that from a distance will ensure the opponent has a wall of projectiles he has to superjump over to avoid. Nastier in X-Factor.
hey could you bring a regular controller I forgot mine at home cause I only got like 3 hrs of sleep (not so hard to figure out why I took a nap in my car huh?). Also that Morrigan combo with astral vision and x factor is bs to the extreme I will lose a character my next one will come in get hit by a fireball and get juggled till death, even if I get free I cant even x factor before the next one hits me. You wanna here something funny played mulciber before I got off used wesker, dante, and chris. My level 1 counter came out instead of level 3 to hit off of juggle and I lost I dont understand how it happened. Anyway said I was top tiering and he used Wolverine, x-23, and Captain America the whole time I sent a message back I dont wanna here that from you lol. I also before I got off went on a 8 game win streak in a random lobby.
