Eskay: I did some stuff with Ammy last night. I didn’t make him look as real as I did Zero or as Keyon did with Trish/Doom but I understand his combo scheme and what he does in an assist situation. Should Dwaine drop it off at Jaguar’s house before he goes to work, I’ll be trying out Zero(Dante/Amaterasu) Trish and M.O.D.O.K . Viper deserves a team centered around her bullshit, so I won’t put her in that one.
Keyon: Remember what I said about the future when it comes to MvC3. You’re there. 
Cola: Will be at David’s along with my asian friend whenever he is ready to go there. Can’t wait for the hype and the salt that’s eventually going to come.
@Usagi: Sounds interesting, I still have plans on trying out Amatsu, Wesker, Trish/Dorm. Other characters i think look interesting are Taskmaster Akuma, X-23, and Viper. but i havnt really thought of a good team that would work well with any of those characters yet. When i get my copy on monday/tuesday i’ll have time to think up a few gimmicks. Also one more question. Hows chris redfield. When i saw him initially he seemed like a good support character i’d want to put on one of my teams but everything i’ve heard/saw so far suggests that i’d be better off just relying on trish for that range/assist slot even though he’s built like a tank and she has no life.

@ Eskay04 right now my team is Chris, Wesker, and my third is in the air till Jill comes out so I am thinking Dante ( I just want to see how he plays), Akuma cause I play him, or Morrigan cause of her bar building assist. As for the others I would have to test to see what I think but right now am just thinking about those.
@Zerog: Team RE huh? Depending on how Jill plays that could work out. But i see Chris as being the weak link of that chain. His moveset seems to have alot of start up frames and doesnt seem to cover the amount of screen that most of the other roster does (width, not length) Im having a hard time believing that he’s capable of keeping out half of the roster considering the insane movesets everyone has. The only thing Chris seems to have going for him is his supers, which is fine if all you want is a meter character with no options. This is all just un-informed youtube speculation though as i’ve not actually played the game yet. In all honesty I hope im wrong of about him.
I’m curious about a lot of people: Taskmaster, She-Hulk, Jill (obviously no one knows crap about her yet)…
Basically I might be doing T. Bonne and Felicia again, but I’m still undecided on a third. I’m leaning toward She-Hulk, Taskmaster or Morrigan, but if Jill is nice, even when it’s not the old Jill, I’d love to revive my old team and see how it does.

Just for the record, don’t be afraid to use Phoenix. I only knew like… a move or so for her and the woman is nearly unapproachable.
qcf+l throws a fireball that travels as fast as I’d say a medium or heavy Hadouken. qcf+m has only slightly more startup, but damn, it travels almost as fast as a damn beam move. qcf+h has a good bit of startup (great to help you stay in the air if you want), but releases a MUCH SLOWER, tracking fireball.
And that’s just the qcf. Once she enters Dark Phoenix mode, double the fireballs for barely any more frames of activation, and any time you hit any attacks, some random fireball is generated. WTF?
@Jaguar: Well im mostly interested in doing so because it’ll give us access to more than one or two systems. That and the fact that technically it should be possible for me to revert it back to its shackled state since im bascially just swapping out firmware. Also, its only been 2 weeks since i’ve last made an appearence. Although i suppose if you combine Super Bowl weekend + AH3 + MvC3 hype it could feel like ages. Maybe i should take up the title of “invisible man” now lol. I’ll show up probably somewhere along 7-8pm since im offically on vacation once i leave work today. And if i have enough time i’ll show up with my setup as well.
Edit: also inform the prince that i’ll bring my usb stick with said relevent info on them should he bring his system.

Phoenix is a gimmick. That is my final assessment of her. Her keep away game without D.Phoenix is subpar in comparisons to Trish, Doom, Arthur, etc. Her normals aren’t fantasatic from what I have seen and in snap back situations, she’s free money. You literally have to base a team around her, or else, she doesn’t get too far. Only a few of us ( excluding me ) died to the fury that is Dark Phoenix. I slapped out a hoe and brought her in to make sure I didn’t have to deal with her shinanigans.
Now Dark Phoenix mode? Shit gets too real. With X-Factor, she just becomes retarded. Then again, most characters do.

@ Thomas: Yea, Phoenix isn’t really threatening at all if you have a teleport, can negate projectiles or can land one combo on her. Also, if you snap her back in, she’s free money. I’d consider her very gimmicky myself and will mainly lose to any player who knows what they’re doing. If she gets in Dark Phoenix mode, the situation is really no different. Only 4 more hours, until I can get my hands on mahvel again <3
Yeah she does have some crazy shinanigans but they can be worked around example weskers teleport allows for him to approach. When I tried to with charters like chris found myself cussing more profanities than a sailor my answer turned out being Iron Mans level 3 which due to how it works allowed gives me invincibility through her jab fireball which due to her already low as crap health allowed me to end her. The idea is yo just have to catch her slipping.
