Don’t get me wrong, I do look forward to the day when I can mash the shit out of jab (and that will also be the day that Oil stacks and people realize that Hakan was good enough as he was), but it’s not like his jab will combo into anything any damn way. So yay, I can jab, jab, jab, then run the hell away because Elf has no business jabbing.
If I ever hear that Daigo or Justin had a say in what to nerf for El Fuerte, I will personally purchase a combat knife, get on a plane, go to where they live and then politely ask them why they did such a thing.
Bushido: Tell them to not make us pay 5 bucks to play our own systems and perhaps the lot of us will consider it. I’m not thrilled about paying that money just to occupy space. Good luck, however.

El Fuerte having a 3f jab makes him a real character in Street Fighter.
Hakan getting Oil stacking makes him go from absolute shit to mostly shit.

@ Usagi: It’s all good. I was asleep for most of the day with a fever, so I didn’t even realize how many times you called. I’m at work now, but I’m not sure how much longer I can last. My head is killing me right now and my cold is not getting any better.

I thought the steram dosent work
It’s dangerous to look at a characters changes in a vacuum without considering the changes to everyone else. Fei Long in Vanilla SF4 is virtually the same character in SSF4 with some almost inconsequential changes to his strength as a character. He turned out to be a good character in Super just because of all the nerfs everyone around him got.
So many games, and so much goodness that I’m seeing in all of this. Galactus was awesome to include.
Now I just need about $130.00 so that I can get my PS3 fixed. I can do everything except play PS3 games on it right now (PS1, PS2, and PSN downloads still work).

@ Usagi: Marvel was too much fun last night. I wasn’t a fan of grapplers at first, but Haggar and Tron made me a believer. Don’t worry, I’ll make my Morrigan/Haggar/Tron team work (Team “I get zoned out hard”). I’ll have to work Spencer in there after I get my hands on my own copy. I’ll have to use the boost to get through during our next match.
Edit: You guys can come by house whenever today after 1pm. After takin’ some dayquill and drinkin’ plenty of gatorade, I feel much better.

While this statement is 100% true, it 100% does not apply to El Fuerte. I see what you mean, though.
Guile matchup is the only matchup I can maybe see an improvement for Elf, but then again EVERYONE’S matchups with Guile improved for the most part. I honestly think Guile got the boot pretty hard.
