Larry gets a package deal in order to afford the conference room while also providing a discount to players. If he doesn’t sell a certain amount of rooms by a certain date, it comes out of his pocket.

Well you should check to see if they charge you as soon as you make the reservation or when you get there. I would do it myself but short on dough.
I just looked in the FR thread and apparently, they will let me reserve the room with the gaming discount and pay when I get there. I’ll either reserve the room during my break at work or when I get home. Also, the only way I would consider reserving two rooms instead of one is unless I knew 100% that there would be enough people going to fill spots.

I just booked a room today from 3/11 to 3/13.
It doesn’t cost anything to reserve a room–you can choose to pay over the phone at the time of reservation, or pay when you arrive.
It’s best to reserve the room before Feb 14 anyways, so you’ll still get the discounted rate when you arrive.

I know of ton of people from NC are planning on going to Final Round, actually. Probably at least 10 people from Charlotte alone, maybe at least 35 from the whole state.

I assume you were also reading that debate about the whole CEO/LA tournament being on the same day XD We definitely don’t want that whole situation to happen with us and we need to announce the date asap.

Personally, I would rather do casuals at David’s. That’s just me sayin’, but I am sure everyone else would agree with such. As for the tournament at Myrtle, I unfortunately cannot attend. Anniversary with the misses and it is also her birthday. So she shall be getting all of my attention. D: 7 years of hell… I mean, marriage! Yaaaaay.
Good news: I got the day off tomorrow so I can stay out longer than originally intended. Gotta get my Arcana in, as well. Also, show some fake Makoto by the name of Zack what’s up.

@ AwardTour: By the time we’d arrive, the tournament would probably half over (I’m sure of start times) Who knows, maybe I’ll get birth certificate sooner than later. You guys can come by my place after 6pm for casuals, when I get off work. I felt like such a bum yesterday. After I connected my computer to the big screen in the living room and I sat and watched episodes of D.Gray-man from 7pm-1:30am. Anime is so much nicer to watch on an actual tv, lol. I’ve also got through most of the filler so it’s quite enjoyable at the moment. I’m on episode 72 right now and still got over 30 or se left to watch.
