Bro I was done for the night, I was tired, and I didn’t feel like playing LoL after those losses at all.
I lost a significant amount that day, but got some wins prior to play with Ben. Ben didn’t get any… at all. ( I won’t count the times he made a smurf account just to blow off steam and win. ) How do you think -we- felt about that? All of that aside, if you were tired then you should’ve just said you were tired and this current issue wouldn’t even exist. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and apologise, this time, for stepping out of line. As childish as it may sound, just make your intentions known. Otherwise, asshats like myself and Ben are gonna make the wrong assumption.
My statements for Ben’s brother, however, do not change. I refuse to play with someone that hasn’t made improvement over the course of 8 days and is more of a liability to the game rather than an asset.
EDIT: Losing games where you do nothing wrong at all is the most frustrating thing in the world. All of those games were winnable or should have been won. Yet, synergy with the team is damn near non-existent and niggas be dying.

If someone ever mashed jab in Blazblue, I think I would pop blood vessels. That is a game that does NOT reward that shit. Unless you’re fighting Eskay.

Nah, David. Nothing serious happened. We just hit that ’ bad day ’ funk where even though we’re doing everything right ( excluding Ben’s bro ) things go wrong and we get fucked over. Besides, I wouldn’t bitch at people that don’t know anything about the game. Don’t think John would do that, either.

EDIT: If you’re wanting to learn through the game the right way, maybe you should play some games with Ben on his smurf account. It wouldn’t do any good bringing you in at our current level and it would discourage you even further.

Our team composition sucked. With david as the only physical Damage, they just built MR and HP and we couldn’t do anything, and not to mention our herp derp alliies. Motherfucking sion that goes avarice blade then gets WARMOGS WHAAAAAAAAAAT, turn around and attacks people with 15 hp.

I dont think I raged at you OR ben all night and it was pretty much david driving me through the walls. Zilean is a champ that needs good composition. We can’t do that shit with no tank and annie as the only initiate. I’d start playing tanks, but can you carry a team by yourself thomas? If so I’ll start playing Shen or Malphite/Amumu.
@SimpleKiss: Hopefully my Shen skills are coming along enough to where you won’t have to worry about that when I’m playing with y’all. I definitely feel as if I’m learning more every day.
Also, what pisses me off about david, is I fucking tell him how to build ashe, and he’ll do it for a game or two and do well. Then the next game he goes off the wall and gets the mejais stack item (aka snowball item) for physical damage (Which is horrible btw.)

Ben played Ashe in his smurf games yesterday and did not miss one arrow. Not a single one. Smurf or not, that arrow is just hard TO miss with. It’s… HUGE. You don’t even have to think about where to aim it unless you’re wanting to stun someone specifically! What I didn’t understand was that when we were doing that, David was behind Ben trying to tell him what items to get and what to do with Ashe.
I found that to be hilarious.
Enough about David. Uvolt has improved by a lot, lately. He isn’t scared to go in, any more and he even tries to utilize all of his skills in a team situation. His friend isn’t that bad, either. He plays Katarina more than any one else from what I have seen.
No you didn’t bitch at me ( I would have loved you to try, since I was 10-4 with Warwick when we lost ) or Ben. I was speaking about your attitude after it was done. That’s all in the past, though. Let’s move on!

I like you guys a lot but you’ve got to stop speaking on SC’s behalf (unless its blazblue lol). Charleston is more active than its ever been in terms of SSF4 right now plus we kinda won both 5 v 5’s…
If we are going to have a unified sc team we need to first nominate a captain from each area who will undoubtly make the team and discuss other nominees and what they would bring to the team. If we are serious about the team thing we need hurry up and decide on a team so we can start prepping instead of slinging salt around
before this gets started though is it gauranteed there will be a team tournament at FR this year?

Ultimately, it’s up to the team captains to decide how Team SC will be made. I only suggested having qualifiers in Cola to get the ball rolling on team selection and since we’re a neutral area in SC. It wasn’t meant to cause any riffs or force a decisions for anyone.
Byron is the team captain for Midlands, so that leaves Southlands (Charleston/Myrtle) and Upstate (if they’re still active) to make a decision. Keep in mind that if we have captains for all different regions in SC (Upstate, Midlands, Southlands), that’s possibly three captains on a 5v5 team and two spot to be decided by three different areas.
Like I said earlier, my intention was only to get things started, it’s Ultimately up to the team captains for each area and I felt that having a qualifer would b a valid choice due to the amount of players in our SC community.

The point of the qualifiers (that would be held at the next 2 tournaments) were to dictate who’d be on the team in order to avoid any type of biased voting on my part (since prior to today, i was assuming the part of team captain) and let those that wanted to be on the team earn their way in. The tournament was not limited to simply cola folks…so if Charleston folks want to show up, they are just as qualified to get a spot as anyone else.
Personally id rather that it stays that way. Im glad that Charleston is active in SSF4…but…i havent heard anything about this. There hasn’t been any recent Charleston appearances at the locals here nor have i heard any of you placing in any tournaments, either locally or out of state…now im not trying to imply anything negative by saying that (in fact, i know that i could be potentially wrong about something ive said…and if thats the case, then i urge you or someone else to correct me) but…at least Cola folks has something to look back on as a basis of judgment (locals, upstate, GA, NC tournaments)…even with that said, the reason i ultimately agreed w/ David’s idea of having a qualifier is due to inconsistencies in placement for practically everyone here in Cola (except possibly Pat) making it difficult for me to hand select folks w/o being biased…Charleston sorta lands in a similar situation (diff being there’s nothing to go by except word of mouth…but again, please correct me on this if im wrong and there’s something to go by)
Who from Charleston would be trying to get in the team? what character does he/she use? Would it be problematic to make it out to 1 of the 2 locals (hell, even both) we have coming up to go thru the qualifier?
Accidental double post
The team should be diverse, that much is for sure. I second the idea of having representatives of each “hot spot” in the state as having captains. I think both captains, with knowledge of their player base, can at the very least give their recommendations on how to fill a potential spot or two. Again, I think unbiased discussion is a better way to make the team. Having a good selection of characters on the team might not be possible with qualifiers.

Does anyone know if there will be Nashi tomorrow? I want to get some practice in tomorrow and Friday at Maddness Gaming before we head out to Charlotte, NC for their tournament. Also, who’s planning on going? I’m having Me, SimpleKiss, Keyon and Pat ride in my car. Supposedly, Charlotte will have entrants for every game so I plan on entering both BBCS and SSFIV.
I’m also disappointed at the news about KOF’s producer leaving SNK. Well I guess I’ll hold off any hopes of playing a console version of KOF XIII for a while (Not that it won’t happen at all). Also, Mahvel is coming out in a few weeks!!! I’ve already taken the release day off work for it. I can’t wait to get my hands in it already.
Edit: Besides DMajorboss, who else plays DFO? I’m looking for some more people to join parties with.
