@Usagi: That sucks about your job. Hopefully, they’ll let you stay home. I might download that game and give it a try. I’ve been having too much fun with DFO lately.

They said that I absolutely did not have to stay if I desired not to and they even believed that they would be closing down. So here I am, drinking a cold beer and about to play some LoL. David, if you aren’t into RTS’ then I wouldn’t recommend it… but it is fun when playing people you know. As stated above, Ben and I stayed up until 3.
Ben and I were actually talking on Skype while u were playing (I was probably contributing to the losses :P) but I ended up downloading and started learning how to play. It’s nothing like what I thought it was, which is a good thing. I figured it was just like WC3 since it’s based off a WC3 mod. Turns out it’s a LOT more funt for me than traditional RTS games. If u guys ever want a newb on your team that wants to learn and get better, hit me up. My friend name is UVolt. HOLLA
Ben will probably be on this piece later, but I am on it right now. Although, I am currently lobby sitting, because I just finished a few games. Cool, I’ll add you after I nap a bit longer. I didn’t go to sleep until 5am myself. After some research though, I think I’m gonna main tank Shen mostly. Using Rammus as a jungler might be fun too.

Defense of the Ancients, which was a team based, hero oriented 5v5 that began on Warcraft 3 . Heroes of Newearth then came into the mix many years later, with the idea of having a stand alone DotA game without having to buy WC3 just to play a different game. Whereas HoN is still around, League of Legends also came about, which has the actual creators of DotA behind it.
Actual DotA is obsolete so it’s either one of these two. I’d personally recommend League of Legends, since HoN is DotA right down to the core - characters and all. LoL, though the same idea, uses a new character base, new item builds and most of the ’ DotA ’ fundamentals have been removed to make it a more casual feel.
It makes me sad that the ’ DotA ’ fundamentals aren’t there, like denying towers, creeps ( minions in LoF ) and things of that nature, but I understand the reasoning behind it.
EDIT: Correction. ’ Played ’ WoW. Until my wife drags me back into that abyss, I refuse to touch that game. @Uvolt: I’ve been playing a whole lot of Sivir, myself. She’s so godrike.

@Jaguar: Not especially, Throwing snowballs in general are fun. Which reminds me, sometime today i’ll have to come out of my otaku cave and clear the snow off my car, or it will freeze over night and make tomorrow morning hell for me.

Just got done clearing the snow off my car. The top layer of snow was already turning into ice. Glad i went out there when i did. If you’ve got a ride and havnt cleared it off, now might be the time to do so. Cuz it’ll be a pain in the ass to do tomorrow morning
@ Eskay: I took your advice and just swept it off of my car. That crap took about 20 minutes to get off. I’m still not looking forward to driving in that slush tomorrow with my 2WD car
@Jaguar: Thats about how long it took me, + the 15min of letting the defroster run in the car. There was a sheet of ice that built up on the right side of my car that i didnt feel was “safe” to try and scrape off. So i let that crap melt.
Took that advice as well. Man that was a pain to get off. And yeah, that defroster trick did the job just fine.
The main issue I’m gonna have is all the ice and snow that’s behind the car right now. That’s not gonna be fun to drive through…
Finally getting some actual game time in. Anyone want to get some free wins is welcome to it
