In all honesty I think I’m done with fighting games after Middle of Nowhere. Of course N-Cubed 05 was supposed to be my last tournament so who knows.
Just need a break from it. I figure you’ll keep playing at least a little bit until you get to Japan, where you’ll be forced to retire from fighters when you get perfected by some 12-year-old schoolgirl.

It is just not the same coming from where the arcade scene was when I started back at age 16 – which was not even all that hot, ask Josh – and playing the same two people over and over again at every game in little console gatherings.

i swore to myself i’m done with games too when i graduated. but i still play. bleh. but i feel the same about the “fuck guilty gear” thing. come to mwc.
I went to virtual arena and tried to play hyper fighting on live. It didn’t work out too well, so I ended up playing Gears Of War with 7 other dudes. As much as they seemed to play the game, they all sucked ass. I didn’t even know how to get in the game (never played on system link for GoW) and so they thought I sucked. Then I beat all of them, badly.
There was this one dude who was like 45 and looked funny. He didn’t say shit, but once he played, he yelled on the top of his lungs “BOOMSHOT!!!” and “CHAINSAW AWESOME!” Everytime I killed him he would say " WHAT THE FUCK!!" really loud. It’s dudes like him that make me hate video games. He sucked ass, so bad. I’ve been playing the game for about less than a month, and this dude has definitely played a lot longer.
I went looking to get my ass handed to me, I thought these people would know the game. When I found out they sucked I felt as if I went to an arcade with eight 3s cabs and only one of the dudes knew what a parry was.
The people there were the way too old dudes, the 14 year olds who have no idea what hygiene is, and the college dude. I met this one college guy who was cool though. He’s solid…until he asked me if I play madden. But I’ll let that one slide.
If I ever go there again, I’m gonna make sure I bring people that I like hanging out with.
Idk if I’ll be able to play games tomorrow, I wanna get wasted.
I’ll never get tired of fighting games. Games have always been more fun for me with others around.
